Her Majesty’s Writ bearing the date September 29, 2020, having been directed to me, public notice is now given:

1. That I am commanded to cause an election, to be held according to law, of a member to serve in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for the above-mentioned constituency.

2. That I will, on October 10th, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. attend at 503 Main Street, , to receive nominations.

3. That in case voting of voters is required, polling places will be open on October 26, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. as follows:

That in case voting of voters is required, advance polling places for this constituency will be established at the: Balcarres Town Hall, 219 Main Street, Balcarres Kelliher Legion Hall, 112 Main Street, Kelliher Cupar Town Hall, 901 Assiniboia Avenue, Cupar Camp Lutherland, 214 Lake Pasqua Road, Lake Pasqua Strasbourg Memorial Hall , 113 Pearson Street, Strasbourg on the following days during the following hours: Tuesday October 20th, 2020 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. Friday October 23rd, 2020 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday October 21st, 2020 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. Saturday October 24th, 2020 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. Thursday October 22nd, 2020 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. 5. 7. That at 503 Main Street, Ituna, on November 7th, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., I shall open the ballot boxes and, in the case of a general election, I shall open the ballot envelopes containing the ballots of voters at hospitals and remand centres, count those ballots and, where there are absentee voters and displaced voters, open the ballot envelopes containing the ballots of those voters and count those ballots and make the addition of the votes given for each candidate and declare elected the candidate having the largest number of votes.

Warning 189(1) No person shall unlawfully take down, cover up, mutilate, deface or alter an election proclamation, notice or other document required to be posted pursuant to this Act. Any person violating the provision of subsection 189(1) is guilty of an offence and, subject to subsection 216(2) of this Act, if convicted, is liable to a fine of not more than $5,000.00 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
