Netball Northern Zone Netball Northern Zone is one of five Regional Sporting Organisations in who work in partnership with for the delivery of Netball throughout the country. Our geographical area stretches from Waiuku in the South up to Kaitaia and the Far North. We have 17 Netball Centres located throughout our Zone and a playing membership of over 47,000 participants which makes up over 30% of the playing population in New Zealand.

The SKYCITY Northern Mystics are our ANZ Championship Franchise team which competes in the Trans-Tasman ANZ Championships and the SKYCITY National League Team competes in the Beko Netball League.

Purpose of the Northern Zone Beko Netball League Programme:

The core purpose of the Beko Netball League Programme for Northern Zone is to develop the whole person for future high performance which includes athletes, coaches and management.

Purpose of the Team Manager Role:

The core purpose of the Netball Northern Zone Team Manager position is to support the team and lead the team logistics, administration and general team management.

Timeframe for the Role:

The role will be for a period of approximately 8 months from December 1, 2016 to the end of June, 2017. There will some work required before December 1 with squad trials.

Netball Northern Zone – Beko Team Manager

Key Responsibilities-  Manage communication plan to athletes & team management  Management of key Information with Netball NZ  Manage any community and sponsor engagement in conjunction with Netball Northern Operations Manager  Manage team finances  Manage all travel and off-court game day processes and protocols  Support and contribute towards the development and implementation of the Northern Beko Programme  Manage the operational and logistical aspects of the team throughout the programme in conjunction with Netball Northern Operations Manager  Support an effective, co-ordinated approach to the management of individual athletes in relation to all aspects of the programme  Ensure team values, team culture and team expectations are understood and reinforced consistently in all aspects of the programme.  Act in a professional manner at all times.
