Friday, Feb. 12 Lynn Smith 8:00 - 10:30 pm Lynn Smith is a local favorite and one of Madison’s most interesting song- writers. This time around he’s doing a special show for Valentine’s Day.

Friday, Feb. 19 David HB Drake 8:00 - 10:30 pm David HB Drake has been called a “gentle troubadour” and “elemental folksinger”. His music is inspired by his voyages across Midwestern prairies and the Great Lakes. He has won awards for his acoustic music, family and children’s performances and his contributions to the arts. Friday, Feb. 26 Singalong and Jam 8:00 - 10:30 pm This will be a traditional hootenanny hosted by Hog member Kim Genich. Please come down with voices, musical instruments and songbooks like “Rise Up Singing” and “Rise Again”.

Open Mike

Open Mike is available for walk-in's between the two scheduled sets. Sign up at the door when you arrive. Expect to do one to three songs. If more than one person signs up, you may be asked to limit the number of songs to less than three. Open Mike performers are not paid and do not share the tips left in Phill-up. Open Mike is a great way to try out a new song or to per- form for the first time on a stage.

1 March Events At the Wild Hog in the Woods Coffeehouse

Friday, Mar. 4 Syzygy 8:00 - 10:30pm has a new celestial alignment: Syzygy, a Madison trio, add to the tradition through songs both venerable and recent. Featuring the writing and riffing of Jacob Grace and Michael Bell and the vocals of Amanda Jane Hoffman, they fill the air with , mandolin, banjo and harmony singing. Songs of love, justice and a greener world.

Monday, Mar. 7 Coordinators Meeting 7:00 - 8:30pm Learn more about how the Hog operates and how you can help by attending a Coordina- tors meeting. All are welcome to listen and give input. Meetings are held at the Wil-Mar Center.

Friday, Mar. 11 Marty Feldhake 8:00 - 10:30 pm Marty Feldhake is a singer and songwriter who hails from the Upper Peninsula of Michi- gan. He enjoys story songs and lists Steve Goodman, Utah Phillips and as his influences. He grew up in Madison and enjoys coming home to play at the Hog. He will be joined by Benjamin Gulder playing fiddle and mandolin.

Saturday, Mar. 19 Hootenanny! 2:00 - 4:30 pm Come down for a couple of hours of song sharing and sing-a-longs. Bring copies of your favorite songs and, if you have them, stringed instruments. This event is FREE, although Phil-up the Pig will be there to accept donations.

Friday, Mar. 25 Barry Callen 8:00 - 10:30pm Barry Wayne Callen is the given outlaw name of a musician fused together with elements of , Roger Miller and John Prine. Expect guests and shenanigans. His album “The Gospel of Fun” is on iTunes with songs like “Ha! Ha! I Got More Stuff Than You.”
