    Biografia da Essex Band Wilko Johnson, nato nel 1947 a Canvey Island - Essex, è un chitarrista e compositore spesso associato ai Dr. Feelgood, la band a cui ha dato il suo nome durante la metà degli anni ’70 e che, con un energetico Blues e R&B, diventerà precursore del punk e, allo stesso tempo, un collegamento al blues del passato.
