Jim Kerr is President of Davidson Companies, the employee-owned financial services holding company that operates D.A. Davidson & Co. and three other investment firms. Mr. Kerr previously served as President of D.A. Davidson’s Individual Investor Group, comprised of a growing group of professionals working in the West and Midwest, and he retains primary oversight for this group. Importantly, he is a strong advocate of Davidson “culture” and sees events such as the Davidson Institute as important venues that allow our professionals to not only take time for education but also to network. As a longtime leader in the securities industry in Seattle, Mr. Kerr also has been a terrific recruiter. Mr. Kerr joined D.A. Davidson in 2005 after working with Wells Fargo. He previously was President of Ragen MacKenzie in Seattle before that firm was purchased by Wells Fargo. He was educated at the University of Oregon.

Brian Wesbury is Chief Economist at First Trust Advisors L.P., and is an author and respected speaker. ranked Mr. Wesbury as the nation’s No. 1 U.S. economic forecaster in 2001 and Speakers Platform named him a Top 5 Keynote Speaker in 2011. He is a member of the Academic Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of and a frequent guest on Fox, Bloomberg and CNBC. His past positions include Vice President and Economist for the Chicago Corporation and Senior Vice President and Chief Economist for Griffin, Kubik, Stephens, & Thompson. In 1995 and 1996, he was Chief Economist for the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress. Mr. Wesbury earned an MBA from ’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Montana. He is the author of “The New Era of Wealth” and “It’s Not As Bad As You Think,” published by McGraw-Hill and John Wiley & Sons, respectively. A Tale of Two Economies Corporate profits are at record high levels, yet unemployment remains elevated. Investors who fear inflation have driven gold prices to astounding highs, but interest rates are at lows typically seen during periods of deflation. Joel Dickson, Ph.D., is a Senior Investment Strategist and a Principal in Vanguard Investment Strategy Group, where he analyzes trends and developments in the exchange-traded fund market and provides research and commentary on related issues. Mr. Dickson has testified before Congress on Social Security reform and mutual fund disclosure issues, and is often quoted regarding the role taxes play in portfolio management and asset allocation decisions. His academic research focused on tax-efficient investing, and he co-authored with John B. Shoven the seminal work on the topic, “Ranking Mutual Funds on an After-Tax Basis.” Previously, Mr. Dickson was head of the Active Quantitative Equity Group within Vanguard Quantitative Equity Department and worked in other positions with Vanguard. Before joining Vanguard in 1996, he worked as a staff economist at the Federal Reserve Board. Mr. Dickson earned a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University and an A.B. from Washington University in St. Louis.

Christopher Ryon is a Managing Director for Thornburg Investment Management and Co-Portfolio Manager of the Thornburg Municipal Bond Funds. Mr. Ryon specializes in the trading, monitoring and structuring of municipal bond strategies, and can be found addressing audiences of both CNBC and Bloomberg Television on topics related to munis and other fixed income investing. He joined Thornburg in 2008 and was elected managing director in 2009. His career spans 25 years of investment management experience. Prior to joining Thornburg, Mr. Ryon served as head of the Long Municipal Bond Group for Vanguard Funds. There he oversaw the management of over $45 billion in 12 intermediate- and long-term municipal bond funds. Mr. Ryon earned his MBA from Drexel University in Philadelphia and received a B.S. from Villanova University, also in Philadelphia. He is a CFA charterholder.

Mr. Noonan splits his time between Russell’s London office and the firm’s U.S. headquarters in Tacoma, Wash. He joined Russell in 2007 and has had roles that include specializing in high-net- worth investment product design. He has focused since then on spearheading or helping to lead initiatives geared toward innovation, product development and new business relationships. He previously was with the Lotus Development Corporation, where he helped pioneer spreadsheet product development for securities trading applications. He holds a B.A. (with high honors) from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

Mr. Delton began his career in investments in 1988 as a Financial Consultant with Smith Barney, and in 1994 he was promoted to Branch Manager. He then served as Branch Manager for RBC Dain Rauscher until 2003. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Delton served as the Western Division Sales Manager and Northern California Wholesaler for Touchstone Investments. He received a B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Economics from the University of Delaware.

Scott Haigh is Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Director of Managed Assets Research. He leads the department’s investment management research initiatives and serves as portfolio manager for the firm’s proprietary Managed Funds Portfolios (MFP) program, and has been instrumental in the design and implementation of managed assets programs. In addition, Mr. Haigh provides due diligence, monitoring and recommendations for the Separately Managed Account (SAM) and Unified Managed Account (UMA) programs. Prior to joining Davidson, he was with Prudential Securities, serving as an insurance products analyst. He holds a degree in Economics from Montana State University.
