The girls section benefited greatly from our fundraising efforts in 2014. Both Coop Mirfield and Morrisons Heckmondwyke were very well attended and the proceeds were used to help fund trips to many galas over the summer. Also we were able to provide the teams with new training equipment without having to rely on pitch raffles like in the past. Lastly we were able to provide funds to cover the outlay for our End of Season BBQ which Our U11 team at Morrisons provided FREE burgers for players on the day. Fun in Blackpool 2014 The annual Blackpool weekender was a resounding success once again. Players and Parents enjoyed some fun in the sun while attending one of the best galas in the country. Many thanks again to the John Winsor, Simon Bedford and others for manning the BBQ at lunchtime…. a monumental task well-done. Also Andy Banks for use of the Van. The Blackpool weekend is only part funded through the club. Majority of player’s costs and ALL parent/sibling costs are paid by the individuals. U11’s and above are eligible. This years girls Tour T-Shirts were kindly sponsored by Mrs Pat Hewitt of Furnhurst Road Mirfield for the 2nd year. A photo from a previous Blackpool weekend Under 7’s & 8’s Our U07 and U8 girl’s teams formed part of the first ever season of indoor soccer tournaments held at Leeds Sports Centre, Geldard Road, Leeds.
