Esse exame também é largamente utilizado como uma etapa em diversos processos seletivos para empresas da área de consultoria. Especificamente a prova de Matemática, apesar de não apresentar alto nível de complexidade, tem, no escasso tempo para sua resolução, o principal limitante. Assim, desenvolver técnicas para executá-lo, pode ser um grande diferencial. Finalmente as questões de “data sufficiency” requerem uma abordagem com a qual o aluno brasileiro não está habituado.
