2017-18 MEN’S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE/RESULTS Richmond SPIDERS (5-13, 3-3) vs La Salle EXPLORERS (8-11, 2-4) SPIDERS STARTERS NOVEMBER Nov. 10 DELAWARE∆ (NBCSW+) L, 76-63 • The Spiders have won back-to-back games for the first time this season and are seeking three straight wins for the first time since winning five in a row from late February to mid-March last season. Nov. 13 JACKSONVILLE ST (NBCSW) L, 94-61 Nov. 20 vs UAB^ W, 63-50 • This is a matchup of the third (Dr. John Giannini - 14th season) and fourth-longest (Chris Mooney - 13th Nov. 21 vs #12 Cincinnati^ L, 75-48 season) tenured coaches in the Atlantic 10. Mooney's 112 A-10 wins rank fifth all-time in conference history. Giannini ranks sixth (95). DECEMBER • The Spiders have outscored their opponents by 28 points in the paint during their two-game win streak, Dec. 2 at Wake Forest (NBCSW+) L, 82-53 totaling 44 points in the paint against GW and 42 at VCU. It's the first time Richmond has scored more than Dec. 6 at Old Dominion (ESPN3) L, 79-60 40 points in the paint in consecutive games since March 2015 (vs VCU & Saint Francis). Dec. 10 JAMES MADISON (NBCSW+) W, 74-71 • De’Monte Buckingham is shooting 54 percent from the field since the start of the A-10 schedule and leads Dec. 19 BUCKNELL (MASN) L, 86-78 all guards in field goal percentage during A-10 play.
