On Tuesday, the Univer- sity asked students not to participate in the infamous BARE Run, aka the Undie Run. Alhough the event has been popular for many years, its mission — to serve as a fun place to donate clothes — has not been successful, accord- ing to the University email. While some students are bound to still strip and run, others might try to think of alternatives. Whether or not you were planning on going, here are five things to do this Friday instead: 1. Dress up as bears and run. Then go watch “The Revenant.” 2. Donate your clothes. Thrift stores, including Arc and the Goodwill, accept clothing donations. 3. Run around your house naked. The police can’t stop you there. Anjani Mahabir, 30, spends her days playing music at the Old Town Square.

The project consists of coast-to-coast scorcher “My Town" feat. Giggs, the ominous "30” and strip-club-ready “Caddy's” feat. Juicy J. The trifecta of songs is a deeper dive into Baka’s life experiences, both past and present. The music is built on the foundation where actions speak louder, dedication to the craft is key and loyalty is paramount. The expression "no long talk" is West Indian Patois, commonly used to express frustration with someone who talks too much. Baka’s no long talk. arrives amidst his live tour dates in the UK as support on the Assassination Vacation arena-tour with Drake. THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY SCHREYER HONORS COLLEGE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION ARTS & SCIENCES “I THOUGHT ABOUT KILLING YOU”: CONSIDERING THE UTILITY OF RHETORICAL AND BIOGRAPHICAL CRITICAL APPROACHES TO KANYE WEST’S YE CORY N. STEINLE SPRING 2020 A thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for baccalaureate degrees in Communication Arts and Sciences and Labor and Employment Relations with honors in Communication Arts and Sciences Reviewed and approved* by the following: Bradford Vivian Professor of Communication Arts & Sciences Thesis Supervisor Lori Bedell Associate Teaching Professor in Communication Arts & Sciences Honors Adviser * Signatures are on file in the Schreyer Honors College. i ABSTRACT This paper examines the merits of intrinsic and extrinsic critical approaches to hip-hop artifacts. To do so, I provide both a neo-Aristotelian and biographical criticism of three songs from ye (2018) by Kanye West. Chapters 1 & 2 consider Roland Barthes’ The Death of the Author and other landmark papers in rhetorical and literary theory to develop an intrinsic and extrinsic approach to criticizing ye (2018), evident in Tables 1 & 2. Chapter 3 provides the biographical antecedents of West’s life prior to the release of ye (2018). Chapters 4, 5, & 6 supply intrinsic (neo-Aristotelian) and extrinsic (biographical) critiques of the selected artifacts. Each of these chapters aims to address the concerns of one of three guiding questions: which critical approaches prove most useful to the hip-hop consumer listening to this song? How can and should the listener construct meaning? Are there any improper ways to critique and interpret this song? Chapter 7 discusses the variance in each mode of critical analysis from Chapters 4, 5, & 6.

PARTYNEXTDOOR UNVEILS PARTYPACK ON OVO SOUND, A COLLECTION OF PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED MUSIC FEATURING PND CLASSICS “PERSIAN RUGS,” “CANDY” FEAT. NIPSEY HUSSLE, “WEST DISTRICT” AND MORE LISTEN HERE DOWNLOAD COVER ART HERE October 16, 2020 (Toronto, Ont.) – The impact PARTYNEXTDOOR has made on R&B can be traced back to music that was never officially released and today, PND shares PARTYPACK on OVO Sound, a rare bundle of PND classics that define an era. The 7-track collection of songs, dating back to 2015 with guest features from Quavo, Lil Yachty, Murda Beatz and the late Nipsey Hussle, are now deemed some of the most sought-after tracks from the PARTYNEXTDOOR catalogue. Fans can now stream coveted slow jams like “PERSIAN RUGS,” “THINGS & SUCH” and “DON’T DO IT FOR YOU NO MORE.” PARTYPACK resumes the GRAMMY® Award-nominated artist's prolific musical output from the release of his critically-acclaimed album PARTYMOBILE, which dropped in March of this year and features the now RIAA platinum-certified “LOYAL” feat. Drake and blockbuster single “BELIEVE IT” with Rihanna. PARTYMOBILE has collected over 625 million streams, making it his second Top 10 album ever. "PARTYNEXTDOOR has now made his triumphant official return," said HYPEBEAST of PND's fourth album. GQ raved that PARTYMOBILE, whose title is inspired by listening to music while driving, is "his best album to date." Forbes said, “PartyNextDoor’s ability to pull inspiration from all his previous work to craft a wide array of after-hours R&B and alternative hip hop has led to the creation of one of the best LPs of its kind.” In 2020, PND has also been featured on tracks from Summer Walker, dvsn and Trippie Redd.

drake view album download Drake view album download. Drake Views Updated Download album, stream full hq songs | Pc mobile versions, download Drake Views Direct album. Drake's fourth album sounds claustrophobic and too long and weirdly monotonous, yet a few great moments are triggered by the occasional tweaks in the mix. On July 31, 2015, the track was recorded by Nineteen85 as the album's lead single "Hotline Bling" was released. 'Hotline Bling' was included as the bonus track on the record, despite the song being released as the official lead single for Views. VIEWS is the name of the record, but its viewpoint is distinctly singular. In a recent, toothless interview, Drake told Zane Lowe, differentiating VIEWS from his previous work, "This album, I'm very proud to say, is just, I feel like I told everyone how I really feel." This may sound like a ludicrous distinction, but it's appropriate, and it suggests why this album sounds more like a claustrophobic mindfuck than a communal catharsis. There's never any doubt that Drake is the star of his own show. Artist: Drake Album: Views (2016) Genre: Hip-Hop. Track list: 01. Keep the Family Close 02. 9 03. U With Me? 04. Feel No Ways 05. • FADER OVO Golden Child VICE PARTYNEXTDOOR Is OVO's Next
FADER OVO golden child VICE PARTYNEXTDOOR is OVO’s next experiment for how to make the music industry work. This plan of releasing songs, touring, and not doing much else is ambitious in a music landscape that seems to demand artists always stay in the spotlight, but it’s also working. There’s very little money to be made in the music industry in 2014 outside of touring, selling your talents as a featured artist, and having your music licensed for car commercials. The team over at October’s Very Own know this, and they’re priming Brathwaite to be a valuable part of their label by adopting a perfected version of a blueprint that has failed them before with The Weeknd and the XO collective. PartyNextDoor carries on this trend of singing about the darker aspects of life, but aims his focus on the violent and romantic life of gang parties instead of after parties, putting the narrative on the drug dealer instead of the drug taker. NEW YORK TIMES A burlier, less emotionally icy version of the Weeknd THE WASHINGTON POST PartyNextDoor has explored the type of sullen, synth‐swaddled R&B mastered by Drake and his former collaborator the Weeknd. This sense of musical deja vu dominated the night, whether in lyrics about popping champagne, blowing money fast and riding through the city, or in samples of Miguel and Dru Hill. GRANTLAND It’s fitting, then, that Brathwaite is our first truly post‐Weeknd artist, doubling down on the bone‐chilling Toronto nihilism that catapulted Abel Tesfaye to PBR&B stardom in 2011.
