Update: 12-06-2011 - Back home for a few days but the blog postings won't resume until January - Have a Blessed Christmas Holiday Season in Jesus Christ! ~ God bless everyone, David Anson Brown The current Christmas blog postings are intended to be the only postings until after the end of the year. It seems important to be really focused on Jesus Christ during this 2011 Christmas Season so there won't be any other postings, posts that could get us off topic and get in the way of our Christian Worship of Jesus Christ during the Christmas Holiday Season. -- Currently I'm working on a few projects, mostly regarding the coming Church History blog Study and getting ready to resume the blog postings in January. I'll be out of town again during the Holidays so the blog will be on a break until January. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them." Basic Christian: Christmas 2011 - The CHRISTmas Message in the Bible -- God's Wonderful Creation of Our Life and Existence "Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." -- "Genesis 1:26-28 And God (Father, Son Jesus, Holy Spirit) said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." -- God Created Mankind for Fellowship "Genesis 5:1-2 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him; male and female created He them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created." http://www.basicchristian.org/BasicChristian_Extended.rss[1/1/2012 5:01:22 AM] Basic Christian Extended 2011 Adam & Eve Sin against God - Mankind is now Separated from God "Genesis 3:9-13 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard Thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And He said, who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree (of evil), whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? And the man said, The woman whom Thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent (Satan) beguiled (tricked) me, and I did eat." -- God Promises Mankind the Redeemer Jesus - the Seed of the Virgin Birth "Genesis 3:14-15 And the LORD God said unto the serpent (Satan), Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed (antichrist) and her seed (Redeemer-Jesus Christ); it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel." -- The Tree of Life is Sheltered until Sin is Removed "Genesis 3:22-24 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of Us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

  • Preface to the Jack Hyles Story
Introduction to the Hyles Story Preface to the Jack Hyles Story Jack Hyles was an enigma most of his life. Born in the little town of Italy, Texas (about 30 miles south of Dallas, just off I-35E today) on September 25, 1926, he departed this world on February 6, 2001 at Chicago University Hospital, the victim of a failed heart operation. He was 74 at the time of his decease. As far as "numbers" in the ministry, his start was very inauspicious. He attended the East Texas Baptist College (SBC) in Marshall and was a student pastor while there. His first three churches – all small ones in Texas – were Marris Chapel Baptist in Bogata, Grange Hall Baptist in Marshall, and Southside Baptist in Henderson. He next went to the Miller Road Baptist in Garland, where his success was not only hailed by fellow Southern Baptists, it came to the attention of Dr. John R. Rice through his advertising manager at the time, Miss Fairy Shappard. I was present when she returned from a business trip to Texas and heard her report with great enthusiasm her visit to his church. Dr. Rice started using him in Sword Conferences and, as a result, he eventually became nationally known. I had known him from my own ministry in Texas. After Garland, he held a long pastorate at the First Baptist Church in Hammond, Indiana – starting his ministry there in August of 1959 and remaining until his decease. In the latter two churches thousands professed faith and were baptized. In Hammond he had a huge Sunday school and church attendance, reputedly the largest in the world at the time.

  • Lexical Innovation on the Internet - Neologisms in Blogs

Volume 74, Number 11 November 2012 Christenings Signal New SIU Jobs Crowley Adds ATB; Navy Welcomes High-Speed Vessel The SIU-crewed fleet recently expanded as Crowley christened an articulated tug- barge (the ATB Legend, photo at top) while the Navy launched the civilian-crewed high-speed vessel USNS Choctaw County (bottom right). SIU members and officials along with company representatives joined the Crowley ceremony in Tampa, Fla., (group photo below) as Joan Grune christened the tugboat (photo above). Meanwhile, more than 700 people turned out for the Choctaw County ceremony in Mobile, Ala., where Theresa Gilliam Pitts (photo at immediate right) broke a champagne bottle across the bow. These fleet additions mean new jobs for SIU members. Page 3. This is a particularly important and challenging assignment as our nation edges closer to the infamous “fiscal cliff” that’s also known as sequestration. Sequestration refers to an automatic cut of portions of federal agencies’ Committee members meet in Piney Point, Md. budgets, spurred by the Budget Control Act of 2011. No one knows if a compromise or some other solution will be reached before the end of the year, when the cuts are scheduled to kick in.

In this work I present a method for locating linked data to preserve which functions even when the URI the user wishes to preserve does not resolve (i.e. is broken/not RDF) and an application for monitoring and preserving the data. This work is based upon the principle of adapting ideas from hypermedia link integrity in order to apply them to the Semantic Web.
