This marked the completion of their “Adopt a Conrad Bear” fundraising campaign which took place from 30 November 2015 to 11 January 2016. In total over 440 pieces of Conrad signature plush bears, in 4 varying sizes, were made available for adoption by the public and all proceeds went to APSN. This event was all the more poignant as it was the last year that the iconic Conrad Bear Christmas Tree would make its public appearance at the hotel lobby. Subsequently all unsold bears were donated to APSN. This is not the first time that APSN has collaborated with Conrad Centennial. In 2014, Conrad Centennial invited a group of students from Tanglin School to tour the hotel facilities to learn more of the hospitality industry. In the following year, the hotel sponsored some funds and furniture in the refurbishment of the mock hotel suite in Tanglin School.
