We aspire to help our clients take key investment decisions with actionable, granular, and relevant data points. Know more.. is our brand essence. We are here to help companies and consumers gain more confidence in every real estate decision they take. -2- -1- -2- -3- Research Methodology This report is based exclusively on our primary research and our proprietary data sources. All of our research activities are quantitative and electronic. Aqarmap mainly monitors and tracks 3 types of data trends: • Demographic & Socioeconomic Consumer Trends 1 Million consumers use Aqarmap every month, and to use our service they must register their information in our database. As the consumers progress in the usage of the portal, we ask them bite-sized questions to collect demographic and socioeconomic information gradually. We also send seasonal surveys to the users to learn more about their insights on different topics and we link their responses to their profiles. Finally, we combine the users’ profiles on Aqarmap with their profiles on Facebook to build the most holistic consumer profile that exists in the market to date.

  • College of Education Commencement 2021
COLLEGE OF EDUCATION COMMENCEMENT 2021 PB Welcome to CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY LONG BEACH California State University, Long Beach is a member of the 23-campus California State University (CSU) system. The initial college, known then as Los Angeles-Orange County State College, was established on January 29, 1949, and has since grown to become one of the state’s largest universities. The first classes in 1949 were held in a converted apartment building on Anaheim Street and the cost to enroll was just $12.50. The 169 transfer students selected from the 25 courses offered in Teacher Education, Business Education, and Liberal Arts which were taught by 13 faculty members. Enrollment increased in 1953 when freshman and sophomore students were admitted. Expansion, in acreage, degrees, courses and enrollment continued in the 1960s, when the educational mission was modified to provide instruction for undergraduate and graduate students through the addition of master’s degrees. In 1972, the California Legislature changed the name to California State University, Long Beach. Today, more than 37,000 students are enrolled at Cal State Long Beach, and the campus annually receives high rankings in several national surveys. What students find when they come here is an academic excellence achieved through a distinguished faculty, hard-working staff and an effective and visionary administration. The faculty’s primary responsibility is to create, through effective teaching, research and creative activities, a learning environment where students grow and develop to their fullest potential. This year, because of the pandemic, we will celebrate the outstanding graduates of two classes – 2020 and 2021.

  • Enhancing Healthcare Decision-Making Process: Findings from Orthopaedic Field
administrative sciences Article Enhancing Healthcare Decision-Making Process: Findings from Orthopaedic Field Irene Schettini * , Gabriele Palozzi and Antonio Chirico Department of Management and Law, University of Rome Tor Vergata, 00133 Rome, Italy; [email protected] (G.P.); [email protected] (A.C.) * Correspondence: [email protected]; Tel.: +39-0672-595-401 Received: 29 October 2020; Accepted: 20 November 2020; Published: 25 November 2020 Abstract: In the healthcare field, the decision-making process is part of the broad spectrum of “clinical reasoning”, which is recognised as the whole process by which a physician decides about patients’ treatments and cares. Several clinicians’ intrinsic variables lead to this decisional path. Little is known about the inference of these variables in triggering biases in decisions about the post-discharge period in the surgical field. Accordingly, this research aims to understand if and how cognitive biases can affect orthopaedists in decision-making regarding the follow-up after knee and hip arthroplasty. To achieve this goal, an interview-based explorative case study was run. Three key-decisional orthopaedic surgeons were interviewed through a quality control tool aimed at monitoring the causes and effects of cognitive distortions. Coherently with the literature, eight biases come to light. All the interviewees agree on the presence of four common biases in orthopaedic surgery (Affect heuristic, Anchoring, Halo effect, Saliency). The other biases (Groupthink, Availability, Overconfidence, Confirmation), instead, depending on specific physicians’ intrinsic variables; namely: (i) working experience; (ii) working context. This finding contributes to the debate about the application of cognitive tools as leverage for improving the quality of clinical decision-making process and, indirectly, enhancing better healthcare outcomes.
