THE COUNTY COUNCIL SLIP-ROAD FROM RUNFOLD DIVERSION (A31), TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2020 ON 10 JUNE 2020 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of the eastbound slip- road from the “Runfold Roundabout” Runfold Diversion (A31), Tongham to Hogs Back (A31)(also known as Guildford Road). This Traffic Order is required to enable drainage, maintenance and/or highway surfacing works on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out within 1 week of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 June 2020. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians, cyclists, equestrians and emergency services will be maintained at all times. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the vehicular diversion route for eastbound traffic which will be: From Blackwater Valley Road (A331), over the Runfold Roundabout to join the Runfold Diversion slip (A31) towards , to return via the Shepherd and Flock Roundabout to re-join Guildford Road (A31). VARIOUS ROADS IN FARNHAM TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER (NO.2) 2020 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in: a) The entire length of Cherry Tree Road (D5308), ; vehicular traffic will be diverted via Fullers Road: b) That length of Upper Way (D5317), Farnham that extends from its junction with Talbot Road (D5317) to its junction with Green Lane (D5317); vehicular traffic will be diverted via Green Lane, Shortheath Road, Ridgeway Road and Weydon Hill Road. c) That length of Alma Lane (B3005), Farnham that extends from its junction with Upper Hale Road (A3016) to its junction with Sandy Hill Road (D5355); vehicular traffic will be diverted via Upper Hale Road and Farnborough Road. d) That length of Vale (D5310), Farnham that extends from its junction with Forest Drive, to its junction with Gardeners Hill Road (D115); vehicular traffic will be diverted via Gardeners Hill Road, Longdown Road, Burnt Hill Road and Frensham Road. e) The entire length of Frensham Heights Road (D5309), Rowledge; vehicular traffic will be diverted via The Long Road and Summerfield Lane. This Temporary Traffic Order is required to enable highway patching, resurfacing, maintenance and/or improvement works on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 7am to 5pm as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 26 June 2020. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles, pedestrians and; dismounted cyclists and equestrians at all times. Access for residents and businesses on the affected lengths of road described in parts a) to e) above will be maintained via the diversion routes described. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
