LAST WEEK at the state convention of Circuit Clerks and Deputies held at Barkley Lodge, a Trigg Countian was honored. Mrs. Virginia Alexander, Trigg Circuit Clerk, was presented with the honorary title of Kentucky Colonel by Governor Wendell Ford.

We feel that Mrs. Alexander was most deserving of this honor and we offer our congratulations to her.

Mrs. Alexander has proven to be worthy of this award by her generosity in helping hundreds of people solve their many problems.
