STATISTICAL REPORT of Seventh-day Adventist Conferences, Missions, and Institutions throughout the World For the Year Ending December 31, 1990 A WORD ABOUT THIS REPORT
A New Look at the World.(See cover.) Global Mission is the challenge of every Seventh. Harvest 90 evangelistic thrust, adding 332,449 persons to the church January through June, 1990, During the same period of 1989 the number of accessions was 280,832. Publishing House Sales.-Since 1987 the Church's publishing houses have reported their Total accessions for the entire Harvest 90 period-July 1, 1985 to June 30, 1990-amounted sales as wholesale values; prior to 1987 they reported them as retail sales. Comparisons of recent to 2,490,105 or 108.1% of the division-by-division objectives, 2,303,000.
