Relationships/Sexual Health and Your Student (6-12th grade) Presented by: Kate Cox, LICSW, Clinical Social Worker, Program Director for Project for Teens Come and join Kate Cox to learn and discuss how to more effectively open the conversation with your teenager about relationships and sexual health in an age appropriate way. This session overviews some of the issues facing high ability students, such as perfectionism, anxiety, underachievement, and motivational concerns. This session will also include an overview of resources and strategies that may help families. Stress and Your Student (6th-12th grade) Presented by: Dr. Samantha Steinman , Coordinator of Secondary Special Education In this session, attendees will learn about the warning signs of depression and stress and the impact of depression and stress on student achievement. Assuring learning excellence and readiness for a changing world. isd77.org 4 Mankato Area Public Schools’ Community Education & Recreation ACES SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE Mankato Area Public Schools’ SUMMER ACES 2019 Community Education & June 13–August 23 Recreation ACES Program offers care before school, after Summer Programs Available school and on non-school days Little ACES: Children entering Kindergarten; Fall 2019 for students attending MAPS ACES: Entering Grades 1–5; Fall 2019 Kindergarten through 5th grade.
