Administrative/Biographical History: The Prudhoe Bay oil field is the largest field in North America. It was discovered on March 12, 1968, with the drilling of Prudhoe Bay State #1 well. The well log is a record of the geologic formations penetrated by the well shaft.

Scope and Content Description: Single sheet readout from dual induction laterolog with manuscript annotations, dated April 15, 1968.
