Researcher and PhD on peace and armed conflicts. Member of the Delàs Cen- ter for Peace Studies (Barcelona) and the Interuniversity Institute for Social Development and Peace (IUDESP, University Jaume I, Castelló). He participates or has actively collaborated in other organiza- tions, platforms and research centers related to geopolitics, international relations, militarism and war. He has worked as coordinator of humanitarian projects in war contexts and conducted fieldwork in different areas affected by armed conflict. Author of several studies and publications on milita- rism, humanitarianism and armed conflicts, he teaches various degrees and postgraduate courses. [email protected] Camino Simarro. Social educator and anthropologist. It was founded in 1986 as an innovative program that brought together military specialists and civilian academics to focus on military and security topics derived from unclassified, foreign media. Today FMSO maintains this research tradition of special insight and highly collaborative work by conducting unclassified research on foreign perspectives of defense and security issues that are understudied or unconsidered. Author Background Zhulduz Baizakova is a graduate from Kazakh National University and has a MSc degree in International Security and Global Governance, Birkbeck College, University of London, where she successfully defended her dissertation on NATO peacekeeping activities. She served for seven years in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including a posting to the United Kingdom. Aktuelna bezbednosna situacija u regionu a posebno u neposred- nom okruženju, diktirala je odgovarajuću organizaciono funkcionalnu struk- turu obaveštajno bezbednosnog sistema Izraela koja se dijalektički modifi- kovala prema novonastalim političko bezbednosnim izazovima i rizicima. Istorija jevrejskog naroda pokazala je da formiranje nacionalne i neza- visne države Izrael do danas prate brojni, otvoreni problemi, ugrožavajući faktori, koji se manifestuju kroz različite oblike organizovanog nasilja, rato- ve, terorizam i dr. U okolnostima kontinuirane borbe za opstanak izraelske države i nacije, značajno a možda i ključno mesto zauzimaju obaveštajne aktivnosti, koje su ugaoni kamen u procesu obezbeđivanja obaveštajnih informacija kojim se definiše strategija nacionalne bezbednosti Izraela, na- cionalni interesi i spoljnopolitički prioriteti. Akcenat u radu je na strukturi i funkciji obaveštajno bezbednosnog si- stema Izraela u korelaciji sa unutrašnjom i spoljnom bezbednošću ove dr- žave. Ključne reči: Izrael, obaveštajno bezbednosni sistem, obaveštajne službe, nacionalna bezbednost Nastanak i razvoj države Izrael rvi počeci nastanka jevrejske države, (hebrejski Medinat Yisra’el), vezuju se za P kraj 19. veka kada je razmatrano pitanje na kojim teritorijama, koje su već bile na- seljene „sinovima izrailjevim“,1 sprovesti plan ostvarivanja vekovnog sna Jevreja za sop- stvenom, nacionalnom i nezavisnom državom. Razmatrane su dve opcije, i to kroz even- tualno stvaranje jevrejske države i naseljavanje Jevreja u Argentini ili formiranje jevrejske države u Palestini.
