I stuteriboken får bara införas engelska fullblod.

Not surprisingly, some of their peers who were also supplied by the feed merchants at the centre of this Upcoming OTI Runners OTI Fun and Games OTI NEWS controversy, decided otherwise! A CONVERSATION Given the apparent clearance of the infected product in Ireland, O’Brien WITH could well have “ran the gauntlet” in the hope that any trace of Zilpaterol DEANE LESTER would have left the horses’ systems by race time. He chose instead to scratch and hence protect himself, his horses and indeed the industry from possible negative consequences. JOHN BERRY Aidan O’Brien is a tall poppy, a natural target for some of his competitors GET TO KNOW YOUR and those who thrive on innuendo. Unfortunately for them, the reality is FELLOW OTI OWNERS that he is a training genius. As competitive as he is, we also now know that - TRACEY CHAPMAN he is not a ‘win at all costs’ merchant. Through his actions last weekend that potentially cost some horses a stallion career, he displayed a level of integrity that many of us would like to see throughout racing. Spring Magazine 2016
P ARK HOUSE STABLES SPRING MAGAZINE 2016 INTRODUCTION P ARK HOUSE STABLES ith the mornings finally brightening and the need for fewer layers to leave the house and brave the elements, the Wwelcome feel of Spring has arrived! The anticipation of the new Flat season also accompanies the lighter mornings, bringing with it an increase in activity out on the gallops. It is somewhat of a disappointment that for the first time in four years we do not have any likely classic contenders, but this does not stop everyone at Park House being excited for our prospects elsewhere in 2016. Elm Park is a genuinely high class horse for the new season and the likes of Scotland, Absolutely So and Tullius are also older horses that are proven at Group level. Blond Me and Scottish were both Group placed as three year olds following fairly uninspiring two year old careers and they both remain in training. “Do you have polos?” Their achievements last season certainly encourage one to think that there may well be some less obvious talent to emerge amongst the Front cover: Berkshire Beauty winning at Southwell under Oisin Murphy three year olds and, as long as we can keep horses and humans healthy, we are sure to have an exciting and successful year on the Back cover: First lot on the Lochsong on a frosty winter racecourse. morning Whilst it is still early days for the two year olds, I have been impressed by what I have seen of our juvenile colts so far.
