XLT (Exalt) at Holy Family Parish is a powerful encounter with Christ designed to help us grow in our . The night begins with praise and worship led by the Holy Family Band . This leads into a witness talk or teaching, followed by adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. XLT is open to everyone after the Life Teen Mass. but geared towards teens and young adults. Adoration and confessions will be from 8:00 - 9:15 p.m. Refreshments to follow in the hall.

Join us in an adventure in the Catholic faith, a weekend of deepening faith, rockin’ music, and new friends in an ultimate campout experience. Journey to the Father is a Steubenville-style youth conference held in a tent city set in the rolling hills of St. Raphael's Ontario, 45 minutes from ( 2 hours east of Kingston, or an hour west of Montreal) . Excellent Canadian speakers, smaller numbers and a beautiful country setting make this conference unique. Held on July 13-15, this 13 th Journey to the Father Catholic Youth Conference draws some 500 teens and their leaders. This year they have teamed up with NET Ministries of to host a weeklong Discipleship camp for students Gr. 10-12 on the conference site. The Life Teen Program is for high school teens and is centered around the Life Teen Mass which is held each Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Life Nights are gatherings for high school teens that are held after Life Teen Mass until 9:15 p.m. Starting April 1st, all grade 8s are welcome.

children of our Parish have been preparing to receive “Jesus for the

First Time”. This is a joint responsibility shared by their families, our Catholic schools and the Parish. We all are supporting each other with teaching the children about our faith. One of the activities that we do with the children, is give a tour of the church, watch a powerful movie called “Grandma’s Bread” and then bake some bread and close with sharing a meal together. All of this emphasises the importance of tradition, family, Church, Easter and Eucharist. Continue to pray for our young people as during this special time . For the six weeks after Easter our grade two children will be receiving their first communion. Their families have signed up for one of our weekend Masses times to celebrate this special occasion with their family and child. Please keep these children in your .
