The opening of tourism in Schleswig-Holstein in pandemic times is, as you surely know, linked to important general conditions, to which our hosts have adjusted and which should hopefully guarantee you a carefree as well as "safe" vacation on Amrum. Here we are at the same time also dependent on your circumspection, consideration and active cooperation in the sense of all involved. We ask you to take the following points to heart, as our landlords, restaurateurs and business operators are legally obliged to check compliance to the greatest possible extent. For this we expressly ask for your understanding Corona Tests Please only travel with a verifiable negative test and present it to your landlord. The test result must not be older than 48 hours (PCR or rapid test). In case of doubt, there is still the possibility to undergo a rapid test in Dagebüll at the ferry terminal or Nordstrand. More information at: www.schnelltest-nf.de 1. A full vaccination protection (2-times vaccination) is sufficient, as far as 14 days after the 2nd vaccination have passed. The proof can be provided by an official certificate (e.g. presentation of vaccination card). Guests with symptoms typical of corona must, however, be tested. 2. Recovered persons do not have to present a negative test either. The proof of recovery is provided in the form of the positive PCR test result, which must be at least 28 days old and not older than 6 months. However, guests with symptoms typical of corona must be tested. 3. Repeat testing at least every 72 hours on Amrum. We maintain at least 14 testing centers distributed throughout the island on Amrum. It is recommended to make an appointment to avoid waiting time. At some test centers you are welcome to appear unannounced. The test procedure is usually completed within 15 minutes. You will greatly help your host if you provide the results in a timely manner and without separate request. (Vaccinated and recovered persons are exempt from the above tests). What do you need negative test evidence for: - At arrival/check-in: not older than 48 hours. Repeat at least every 72 hours thereafter. - Regular presentation to your host/landlord. - Presentation when visiting the gastronomy (indoor areas) - does not apply to outdoor areas - Important: the test result must not be older than 24 hours. - When visiting events (e.g. nature and mudflat tours etc., not older than 24 hours). Behavior in the event of a positive Corona test result (rapid test here). Please contact one of the insular medical practices directly to have a required PCR test performed. If a positive result is then confirmed, you must travel home in quarantine at your own expense or in your own car in consultation with the health department. (See also further separate explanations). Use of the LUCA app for contact tracing. It is recommended to install the so-called LUCA app on the smartphone / cell phone, which is used by the majority of our establishments on Amrum to solve the aspect of contact tracing in a digital and uncomplicated way. For guests without a smartphone / cell phone, we are happy to provide a personalized LUCA QR code in our tourist information offices as an alternative, which can be used as a substitute in the businesses or other areas with the appropriate scanning technology. In life-threatening emergencies, call 112. If you become aware that you have had contact with a confirmed Covid-19 case, contact the North Frisia County Health Department (tel. 0800 200 66 22). Physicians who test a vacationer for Covid-19 will inform the NF County Health Department. If the laboratory contracted by the physician finds a positive test result, it will immediately inform our health department about this. (Some laboratories will first contact the health department at the primary residence of the person with the disease, but the health department will then contact the health department at the vacation site for assistance). In the event of an outbreak at the vacation destination, the local health authority is always the lead authority, in this case that of the district of Nordfriesland. It will then take all necessary steps. These procedures result from the Infection Protection Act and the associated state ordinances. What happens if you are infected with coronavirus?
