Built on the famous Model 700™ cylindrical action, Remington^®Varmint rifles are well known for being the most accurate rifles we produce for over-the-counter sale. This year, we’d like to welcome two newly designed members to this prestigious pedigree with the addition of the Model 700 VS SF™ II and the Model 700 VSF.™
Think of the Model 700 VS SF II as a facelift for the original VS SF. We’ve reconfigured our hand laid up composite stock, responding to the requests of varmint hunters across America. Changes include a newly contoured beavertail fore-end, palm swell, twin front swivel studs to accommodate sling and a bipod. Available in a black with spruce green webbing stock, the VS SF II keeps the original VSSF barreled action, only now with blackened flutes.
Like the VS SF II, the Model 700 VS™ gets a makeover in the form of the Model 700 VSF. Its new stock design mimics the VS SF II, but comes in desert tan with black webbing. Its traditional blued VS action now features a fluted barrel for enhanced heat dissipation.
