The 19th-century Czech writer and journalist Jan Neruda, whose characteristically humorous literary depictions of Prague are still popular with readers today, claimed that “there is no other town to rival Prague in beauty”. The city of 100 spires, “Golden Prague” a jewel in the heart of the new Europe. Culture, tradition and a lively atmosphere present themselves in beautifully restored cultural monuments and former aristocratic palaces. Budweiser Budvar Brewery delivered by ICZ FOOD/BEVERAGES The project to replace the costly and limiting +19% RFID-powered solution took seven months to better system uptime complete, while the actual installation took less than one month. compared to RFID Background A Consistent Taste of Beer Requires a Single Production Place, yet Covering 76 Countries Although the brewery brewed its first batch in 1895, it has been following the 13th century historical tradition of brewing in the town of České Budějovice (Budweis). And the current brand builds on that tradition. Unlike other breweries, Budvar doesn’t allow their beer to be brewed in other facilities around the world under license in order to keep the quality and the taste of the product which is highly affected by the characteristics of the water coming from artesian aquifers located within the historical brewery. This makes Budweiser strong in its heritage and unique on its market, but at the same time it is also challenging to operate in 76 countries – from the US to Japan – from only a single place of production and warehousing. Ten different kinds of beer in production multiplied by the dozens of languages used on the labels makes 360 combinations of products being distributed. At the same time, there are over 20,000 pallets of two sizes within the warehouse. Every day, the beer is shipped by more than 50 beer lorries. Goals 6 Reasons to Replace an RFID Location System with UWB RTLS Budweiser Brewery was already using a passive RFID solution to minimize human error while operating thousands pallets with hundreds varieties of beers by its type and label.

  • 7 Festivals, 50,000 Visitors, 1 Great Partnership Our Mission
WRAP UP 2021 7 FESTIVALS, 50,000 VISITORS, 1 GREAT PARTNERSHIP OUR MISSION Our purpose is to make beer pop culture by celebrating the creativity, diversity and dynamism of modern craft beer culture. We’ve built our reputation through changing the game in beer festivals - creating amazing experiences that promote the very best breweries and creative elements of modern beer. We started with London Craft Beer Festival in 2013 with just over 2000 attendees, roll forward 7 years and we attracted over 20k visitors across out festivals in London, Bristol, Edinburgh and Birmingham. We’ve built our consumer and industry reputation by working with the best breweries in the world, incorporating fantastic partners and sponsors, and by elevating the experience with incredible chefs and musicians. Daniel Sylvester [email protected] 0207 099 4132 to talk it through ROI STATEMENT We are Beer events are much more than beer At the heart of our ethos is a constant question - are we providing value for money. When we adapted the festival from a 3 day 5 session event outside of London to a 2 day 3 session event this was at the heart of the debate, the saving of two night hotel for our partners, the saving in labour time, the ease of attendance and the fact that people would be able to come on a Friday morning and be back by Sunday afternoon ready for work the next day was key to us. The sustained investment in our operations team, back end systems and core staff allowed for greater continuity and consistency, translating in a more efficient event for all.

  • The King of Beers
The King of Beers By D R Harms SC 15 May 2019 Crooks and Beer So they all say China has no (or very little) respect for intellectual property. The cheerleader of that group complainants is of course the USA. But see what they did to the little old Czech Republic (formerly CzechoSlovakia) in connection with their famous "Bud" tell another story. They appropriated the name Budweiser and claimed it as their own supported by their courts. The Europeans even joke about it: An American walks into an English pub and orders a Budweiser. Barman: Oh, you must be American. American: You can tell from my order and accent, huh? Barman: No, because you're the fattest f#ck I've ever seen. As they also drink a concoction called root beer there is little to add, the name Trump springs to mind. Ah and, I almost forgot, they have their own Word Champion Ship in some sports. But, all in all, they are a lovable crowd generating lots of IP litigation. History of "Budweiser" (Budweis) In Czech1 Budweiser Budvar (Czech: Budejovický Budvar; Czech pronunciation: ['bu??jovit?ski? 'budvar]; "Budvar from Budweis") is a brewery in the Czech city of Ceské Budejovice (German: Budweis), best known for its original Budweiser or Budweiser Budvar pale lager brewed using artesian water, Moravian barley and Saaz hops. Budweiser Budvar is the fourth largest beer producer in the Czech Republic and the second largest exporter of beer abroad. A separate brewery, Budweiser Bürgerbräu (Czech: Budejovický mestanský pivovar) was founded in 1795 by the city's Germanspeaking citizens and started brewing Budweiser Bier in 1802.

The appellant, to which I shall refer as McDonald's, is a corporation incorporated in the state of Delaware in the United States of America. It is one of the largest franchisers of fast food restaurants in the world, if not the largest. It first commenced business in the United States of America in 1955 and has carried on business internationally since 1971. It operates its own restaurants and also franchises others to do so. It sells hamburgers and other fast foods. The McDonald's trade mark is widely used in relation to restaurants owned by McDonald's as well as those that are franchised. McDonald's obtained registration of its trade marks in South Africa in 1968, 1974, 1979, 1980, 1984 and 1985. It is now the registered proprietor of fifty- two marks. Of these, twenty-seven consist of or 3 incorporate the word McDonald or McDonald's.
