Invitation for the international conference SMART SOLUTIONS FOR URBAN AND REGIONAL MOBILITY IN EUROPE

On 5th and 6th June 2019 the URBIS SMART CITY FAIR takes place at BVV Trade Fairs Brno, . The trade fair in Brno is the biggest fair in the and hosts many exhibitions throughout all the year.

KORDIS JMK as the transport authority in the South Moravian Region together with The Transport Research Centre (CDV) is going to enlarge the URBIS SMART CITY FAIR programme with a conference SMART SOLUTIONS FOR URBAN AND REGIONAL MOBILITY IN EUROPE which is focusing on smart city issues like smart parking, e-buses and smart governance.

Amongst others, an emphasis will be put on the following issues and questions:

• How to improve the service at P+R? • Are the e-buses the vehicles of the future? • Is it necessary to go for shopping to the city centre by car? • Which service can help the small shops in the city centre? • What is the vision of the future of the city and regional mobility?

The conference will be combined with the traditional trade fair URBIS Smart City Fair which is focussing on smart solutions for cities and regions. Many interesting technical solutions will be presented there (www.bvv.cz/en/urbis). Registered participants of the conference will have the permission to visit the fair as well.
