The faunistic study of the family Phoridae carried out in northwestern of Iran during 2013–2017. Five species (Conicera tibialis Schmitz, Received: 1925, Dohrniphora cornuta (Bigot, 1857), Gymnophora arcuata (Meigen, 1830), 06 August, 2018 Metopina oligoneura (Mik, 1867) and Triphleba intermedia (Malloch, 1908)) are newly recorded from Iran. The genera Conicera Meigen, 1830, Dohrniphora Accepted: 14 November, 2018 Dahl, 1898, Gymnophora Macquart, 1835 and Triphleba Rondani, 1856 are reported for the first time from the country. University of Agriculture & Efficacy of different insecticides and bio-products viz. Imidacloprid 70WS, Thiamethoxam 70WS, Technology, Meerut, Carbofuran 3G, Phorate 10G, NSKE, Cow urine-NSKE, Imidacloprid 70WS-NSKE and Thiamethoxam Uttar Pradesh, India 70WS-NSKE were evaluated against number of eggs of A. soccata revealed that the treatments, Imidacloprid 70WS-NSKE was found best to reduce the number of eggs laid by A. soccata i.e. 0.00 Kantipudi Rajesh Kumar Department of Entomology, eggs/plant (11 DAE) and 0.45 eggs/plant (22 DAE) followed by Thiamethoxam 70WS-NSKE with 0.45 Banaras Hindu University, eggs/plant (11 DAE) and 0.72 eggs/plant (22 DAE). However, the maximum number of eggs survival of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India A. soccata was recorded with untreated control 1.85 eggs/plant (11 DAE) and 2.30 eggs/plant (22 DAE). -

Phasiinae (Diptera) являются специализированными паразитами насекомых (Hemiptera). Большинство представителей Anthomyiidae – виды-фитофаги, среди которых немало вредителей сельского и лесного хозяйства. Во время исследований (1996–2012 гг.) на территории Уссурийского заповедника и сопредельной обнаружено 37 видов Phasiinae (tachinidae), относя- щихся к 17 родам. Фауна Anthomyiidae составляет 36 видов, относящихся к 19 родам (74 % и 64 % фауны Приморского края соответственно). целью настоящего исследования являлось проведение ареалогического анализа фауны двукрылых (Diptera) семейства Tachinidae (phasiinae) и семейства Anthomyiidae Уссурийского за- поведника и сопредельной территории Южного Приморья, который представлен в нашей работе впервые. В основу классификации ареалов положена схема зоогеографического деления земного шара А.П. Семенова-Тян-Шанского с дополнениями по О.Л. Крыжановскому. При проведении ареалогического анализа использованы работы, в которых даются сведения о распространении видов двукрылых в Палеарктике, учтены данные о неарктических и ориентальных двукрылых. Keywords Checklist, Finland, Diptera, biodiversity, faunistics Introduction The Agromyzidae are called the leaf-miner or leaf-mining flies and not without reason, although a substantial fraction of the species feed as larvae on other parts of living plants. While Agromyzidae is traditionally placed in the superfamily Opomyzoidea, its exact relationships with other acalyptrate Diptera are poorly understood (see for example Winkler et al. 2010). Two subfamilies are recognised within the leaf-mining flies: Agromyzinae and Phytomyzinae. Both are now recognised as natural groups (Dempewolf 2005, Scheffer et al. 2007). Unfortunately the genera are not as well defined: at least Ophiomyia, Phy- toliriomyza and Aulagromyza are paraphyletic in DNA sequence analyses (see Scheffer et al. -

Beetles and gall midges were reared from dead fruiting bodies of the polypore species Phellinus tremulae, Piptoporus betulinus, Fomitopsis pinicola, Pycnoporus cinnabari nus, Fomes fomentarius and Inonotus radiatus. The number of species differed signifi cantly among the polypore species. The variation in species richness conformed well with the hypothesis that more insect species may utilize a fungi species with (1) increasing durational stability, and (2) increasing softness of the carpophores. Strong preferance for certain polypore species was indicated for most of the Cisidae species, and a few species in the other families of beetles and gall midges (Diptera). The host preferances of the Cisidae species were in good agreement with records from other parts of Scandinavia. The host records in two of the gall midge species are new.
