“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.” - Norman Vincent Peale -

This is one of my favorite quotes. Norman Peale wrote the best-selling book, The Power of Positive Thinking, in 1952. Since then, countless books have come out on the topic of positivity and the benefits of looking at life through a positive perspective. This can be difficult, especially in the midst of times of turmoil and trouble. However, I would argue that regular trips to your library will help you focus on the positives.

Learning can be fun, and the library is full of opportunities to grow your mind. Everyone who comes to the library is smarter just by stepping through the doors and being open to the possibilities that exist inside. Otsego District Library plans many creative and fun programs for the whole family. Attending library programs or peeking in at what’s going on is sure to bring a smile to your face. The library collection has many entertaining materials. If you are looking for some positive vibes and fun, there is sure to be a book or movie to delight you or help you escape reality for a little while.

Our library staff is friendly and helpful. They will greet you with a smile when you visit, and are happy to help you find what you are looking for.

Otsego is a positively stellar community. Let’s continue to “shoot for the moon” by making the library part of your weekly routine – and see how it changes your life in a positive way.
