I worked with seven different Deans in the faculty. My duties included supervising and overlooking around 1200-2000 students of different disciplines and making sure that everything is properly done on time. The most important jobs included, since 2001-2006, running the faculty from 8’ O clock in the morning to 9’ O clock at night making timetables and date-sheets arranging admissions and conducting examinations. I had to hire 15-40 visiting professors for teaching in the faculty since 2001 to 2006. I had to supervise the whole semester. I have been preparing the estimated budget of the faculty since 2001. I also assist my Dean in supervising around 30 full-time teachers and a similar number of part-time teachers. Beside all these I do teach in the Faculty and carry out my research work. I have been participating in numerous meetings in and outside the University, especially the Pakistan Bar Council, the Higher Education Commission and National Testing Service. 10. As my special assignments to initiate new programmes I have designed and initiated myself for my Faculty seven post-graduate programmes–four LLMs (LLM in Int’l Law; LLM Corporate Law; and LLM in Int’l Trade Law and LLM/M.S. Human Rights Law) and three Post Graduate Diplomas. These programmes have redefined legal research in the region. Every year over 70 students register in these programmes. Over 500 students have successfully completed their dissertations and many more are in progress. 11.One of the three LLM programmes is International Law. The programme has attracted tremendous reputation in Pakistan as this is the first time that a specialized LLM programme is offered by any Law faculty in Pakistan. The programme has got so much reputation that the United Nations High Commission for Refugees had signed an MOU with us to give books to the faculty and train professors for teaching Refugee Law. 12. I designed the scheme of study of the PhD law programme and successfully launched it in December, 2010. Over 70 doctoral candidates are enrolled in the doctoral programme in April 2017. 13. I have arranged dozens of seminars, conferences with many international organizations, such as the ICRC, the UNHCR, IUCN, the United Nations Children Fund and many other local and international organisations. 14. I have negotiated on behalf of my faculty with the Internews: a Media organization as a result the University and Internews signed in 2005 an MOU for the promotion and dissemination of Media Law in our curriculum. I am the contact person from the University side. 15. I have been the convener of the committee established by the Academic Council to revise the schemes of study of LLM in International Trade Law, LLM in Corporate Law, and LLM in International Law. 16.
