BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION ON NEW MEMBERS

John K. Grosvenor, AIA Newport, RI Principal, Northeast Collaborative Architects John K. Grosvenor, AIA has practiced architecture for over 30 years and is recognized for designing within the historical context. and his projects range from large scale adaptive reuse to sensitive new construction. He earned a B.S. in Psychology from Kenyon College and a M. Arch. from Miami University. He has served as President of AIA/RI, Chairman of Preserve RI, and Commissioner of the Historic Preservation and Heritage Commission for 28 years. Mr. Grosvenor recently received the 2015 Laurel Award for Artisanship from the Preservation Society of Newport County. He is also a celebrated artist with his watercolors.

Allyn Levy Brookline, MA and Palm Beach, FL Retired. Allyn Levy is the former chairman and chief executive of Patriot Bancorp of , Mass., and former chairman, president and chief executive of its predecessor, Harbor National Bank of Boston. He grew up in Boston and, together with his wife, Judith A. Levy, has been very active in the Jewish Federations of Boston and Palm Beach County. He was a talented high school baseball player and is a skilled golfer.

Rebecca Ackerman Cresskill, NJ Director of Marketing, Haband LLC Rebecca Teitz Ackerman attended Touro Synagogue as a child when she visited her grandparents in Newport. She received her BA, MSEd and MBA from The University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School. She has served for many years as the Chair of the Therapeutic Nursery Committee at the JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly, NJ. She has long experience working in the catalog and omni-channel marketing industry in and near New York City. Although now living in New Jersey, she brings her young adult sons with her to the Letter Reading event as often as possible.
