Introductory Worship We are called to be faithful, as God is always faithful to us. By prayer- We listen to “Veni, Sanctus Spiritus” fully placing the life of the diocese where our sails can best catch the wind of the Holy Spirit, God will take us where God At prayer we wait, with the apostles saying: wills. Come, Holy Spirit! Alleluia! At prayer we wait, with Mary, the mother of Jesus, saying: Come, Holy Spirit! Alleluia! At prayer we wait, with the people of God, saying: Prayer Notes Come, Holy Spirit! Alleluia! The apostles waited in the upper room, together with Mary the mother of Jesus, the women who supported Jesus in his ministry and journeyed with him to the cross, and Jesus’ family,

They waited in patience for the Holy Spirit to come, just as Jesus had promised. They prayed constantly, united in mind and purpose..

On this day before Pentecost, we join together, praying with our brothers and sisters around the Diocese, and praying for our Deanery of Dereham in Mitford.

We light nine candles, signs of the Spirit’s presence among us.

The fruit of the spirit is: Love Joy Peace Patience Kindness Goodness Faithfulness Gentleness Self-control

Send your Holy Spirit upon us, and clothe us with power from on high. Alleluia.
