IAGA News 2013 – Page 3 mer School was held, with 20 students and 8 renowned teachers. The Summer School students stuck together for the rest of the meeting, so it must have been very successful! During the meeting, a high school teachers workshop was organized, with 40 teachers from the Yucatan peninsula participating. They re- ceived an introduction to different geomagnetism themes and later constructed simple instruments which may be easily constructed and used at their schools.
