Incorporated new textbook(s), and course structure of lab assignments and production projects to focus on undergraduate senior portfolio development. Artifacts produced include an original visual identity, visual resume & portfolio, as well as launching a CMS WordPress site with students' developed brand applied.
2014-Present Course Development, Department of Communication | COM 3723, Taught Digital Media Production I, formerly known as, Writing for New Media. Incorporated new textbook(s), and course structure of lab assignments and production projects for browser-based and email-based online communications.
2013-Present Course Development, UTSA Dept. of Communication | COM 3623, Major course overhaul of Commercial Publication COM 3623 including a textbook change and increased digital production/visual communication assignments and rubrics. In 2019-2020 developing a fully ONLINE course.
2019 Workshop, University of Texas at San Antonio, Designed, hosted and led three workshops in Adobe Spark tools for UTSA Teaching and Learning Services. Taught two faculty workshops and one staff workshop to introduce the UTSA Community to the our new UTSA Adobe® Creative Campus and its tools.
2016 Guest Lecture, UTSA Department of Communication | COM 3533, Bryan Eckert came to speak to COM majors enrolled in COM 3533, Writing for Public Relations. Eckert impacted students with his professional writing experiences in television.
2016 Guest Lecture, UTSA Department of English, Provided a lecture and presentation to Diane Abdo's Advanced Professional Writing ENG 4433 course. Topic covered included content strategy, layout and best design practices & tools.
2016 Guest Lecture, UTSA Department of History, Invited & Presented a lecture for Catherine Clinton—UTSA Denman Chair of American History —and her students in HIS 4953, Special Studies in History. The lecture topic was "American Icons," and I presented a historical timeline and meaningful professional and academic contributors to the American Modernist movement in both editorial design and graphic design.
2014 Guest Lecture, UTSA Department of Communication | COM 4723, Hosted and accommodated motion designer, Shay Grabowski to instruct undergraduate and graduate students interested in broadcast graphics, and learning to use Adobe After Effects CC. Grabowski gave her guest lecture to my COM 4723 students on Thursday, then hosted a Saturday workshop from 11 am to 2 pm in MB 0.320 (COMM Lab).

She shared her experience as a writer, journalist, and editor specializing in urban journalism and popular culture.
