Eaton, an outstanding proponent of gliding as a sport and for youth training in aviation. It begins with the first National Contest held near Elmira, N.Y., and follows with gliding scenes during the early 1930's. The film is presented as originally edited by Warren Eaton. $2.50

SL-16-1008 B&W on 3 34.0 min. "Soaring-A Story of Motorless Flight." A film depicting gliding and 400 ft. reds soaring activities at sites where this sport was popular during the early 1930's. Film is concerned primarily with student training in Gennany at the Hornberg gliding school, with Wolf Hirth demonstrating techniques and flight maneuvers. Various types of gliders and methods of launching are shown. Gliding cluh activities in Switzerland are shown both in summer and in winter. Activities at Ellenville and Elmira, N.Y., are also im·luded. $4.50
