Bemidji will host Hockey Day’s outdoor games in 2019 on a temporary outdoor rink to be constructed at Lake Bemidji on Saturday, Jan. 19. Proceeds of the event will benefit Bemidji area youth hockey programs. Minnesota Wild President, Matt Majka, FOX Sports North Sr. Vice President and General Manager, Mike Dimond, Minnesota Hockey Executive Director, Glen Andresen, Bemidji’s Hockey Day Minnesota Event Chair, Tom Kuesel and Wild mascot, Nordy, all gathered prior to the start of the Minnesota Wild vs. Chicago Blackhawks contest Thursday at Xcel Energy Center to mark the occasion. Tickets for Wells Fargo Hockey Day Minnesota 2019 in Bemidji are on sale now at ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices for games on Thursday and Saturday will increase by $5 on January 1. Official Hockey Day Minnesota 2019 merchandise is now available online at hockeylodge.com. The weekend will kick-off on Thursday, Jan. 17 with a girl’s high school hockey game between the Bemidji Lumberjacks and the Woodbury Royals at 7 p.m.
