Kay Younglove Senior Vice President / National Director JONES LANG LASALLE | B I O G R A P H Y Kay Younglove Senior Vice President / National Director Current Responsibilities Kay Younglove is a thirty year veteran of the Atlanta commercial real estate industry, having successfully leased some of the city’s most high profile office buildings. She joined JLL in February 2010 and is currently responsible for marketing and leasing Paces West in Vinings, The Pavilion at 5780 Powers Ferry Road and 6t200 The Corners Parkway in Peachtree Corners. In 2013 Younglove and her JLL partners rebranded, renovated, repositioned and fully leased, Hammond Exchange, a GE owned Class A asset in Central Perimeter, bringing the vacant 250,000 sf building to 100% leased in less than 12 months and enabling GE to sell the asset for $138/sf more than the value, just one year earlier. Prior to joining JLL, Younglove, served as VP of Colonial Properties Trust, was responsible for leasing a 1.7 million sf Class A office portfolio, which included Regions Plaza and The Peachtree in Midtown, Three Ravinia Drive and 1455 Lincoln Parkway in the Central Perimeter and The Park at Windward Concourse in North Fulton. She provided oversight of the company’s marketing efforts for a 3 million sf portfolio in Atlanta while increasing occupancy of the 805,000 sf, Three Ravinia form 49% to 95%. In 2007, Younglove closed 536,880 square feet of lease transactions, valued at over $123 million and was named by NAIOP as the Top Producer for office leasing in the city. Younglove previously served as SVP of Prentiss Properties, where she oversaw the leasing and management in Atlanta. Throughout her ten-year tenure, she was also responsible for leasing One Atlantic Center, the 50 story office landmark in Midtown, along with numerous other urban and suburban assets. In 2000, Younglove closed over $90 million in lease transactions and was named for the fourth time in ten years as a top five producer for office in Atlanta. Younglove’s 301,000 sf lease with the FDIC and her 225,000 SF lease with Coca-Cola were awarded “Best Office Deal of theYear” by The Atlanta Business Chronicle. These were the largest office leases made in the city in those years and were unique in that Younglove negotiated both leases directly with the tenants, with no outside brokers. Prior to Prentiss, Younglove leased Peachtree Center, the six-tower, three million square foot multi-use complex in downtown Atlanta for five years. During the first eight years of her career, Younglove leased suburban office parks for Metro Atlanta Properties, where she oversaw leasing and property management and personally closed an average of 52 leases per year.
