Dillington House has 13 meeting rooms which vary from an 8 person board room style to a 160 seat theatre which can each be set up and used in a number of different ways. About the job The role of the night porter is one that will meet & greet guests checking in, showing them to their rooms and helping with luggage, you will also be ensuring rooms are set up and clean ready for the next day’s business along with locking up and securing the premises and then opening them back up in the morning before the shift ends. Shift pattern will be between 10pm – 7am. Provide an all year round, 7 days a week operation. The rota for the team reflects the spread of Dillington business over the whole week which means that responsibilities are shared amongst the team members and hours of work and nights will vary according to business need. Business at Dillington varies enormously but could require an average of 4/5 rooms to be set-up per day with an average of 70-80 attendees. Along with the Customer Support Team, Premises Manager, Operations Manager and Duty Managers, you will act as a point of contact in the event of an emergency.
