District Profile - Dolakha (as of 10 Aug 2017) This district profile outlines the current activities by partner organisations (POs) in post-earthquake recovery and reconstruction. It is based on 4W and secondary data collected from POs on their recent activities pertaining to housing sector. Further, it captures a wide range of planned, ongoing and completed activities within the HRRP framework. For additional information, please refer to the HRRP dashboard. NRA conducted Gievance management re-survey and Verification on 10 August 2017 at NSET hall, Simpani Dolakha. The training was for social mobilizer facilitator. The training aimed to equip social mobilizers with technical knowledge such that they could help the engineers who will be deployed for resurvey and verification process. The training was chaired by newly elected President Mr. Double Pandey of District Coordination Committee-Dolakha. Twenty six participants were present in the training from seven Rural Municipalities and two Municipalities. NRA chief Mr. Sagar Acharya presented the overview of re-survey and verification process and its importance. DLPIU engineer Er. Shekhar Gyawali presented the information regarding survey form and verification form. 2. Yak festival was organized from 6 to 7 August 2017 in Kalinchowk Rural Municipality in collaboration with Rural Municipality and District Animal Service Department. The aim was to promote farmers towards yak husbandry. The chief guest of the program was Mr. Ananda Prasad Pokhrel, former Tourism Minister. The event was observed by more than Ravi Pajiyar- Dolakha © 300 people.
