The new facility contains 148,000 square feet and will be home to the Center for Enhanced Performance, the Center for Teaching Excellence and the Library. The almost-completed Jefferson Hall is six stories high, has 10 meeting rooms and is designed to modernize library and learning center functions. It will have wireless access to allow cadets to log onto the library’s network using their laptop computers. The basement and first floor of the old library will be used to house the library’s archives and special collections while the rest of the building will be renovated to be used for chemistry and physics classrooms and laboratories.
