Summary: Comedy/mystery set in Los Angeles in the 1991. A laid-back, unemployed, ‘stuck in the 70s’ ex-hippie named Jeff ‘Dude’ Lebowski (Bridges) is drawn into investigating threats against Pasadena millionaire Jeffrey Lebowski when he is beaten up by two goons who are really after the ‘big Lebowski.’ One of Dude’s bowling buddies and advisors is Walter Sobehak (Goodman), a Vietnam veteran who can’t engage in a discussion without dragging ‘Nam into it.
