Two grandsons in lived in four different states and Dennis has worked in law Virginia. Lost my parents and 19-year-old brother in a plane crash in 1969. Lost my older brother in 2003 when he dropped dead from a massive heart attack in a hospital elevator. Suffered catastrophic consequences in 2011 from prostate cancer treatments and almost died when my bladder ruptured and spread infection throughout my entire abdomen, pelvic bone and right groin. Recovered to the point of being able to walk, jog, hike, work out with weights, ride a zip line and a horse.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Graduated from UCLA , got married, got my teaching credential at the University of Hawaii, had a son. I then taught junior high and high school math for 14 years in Anaheim before becoming a high school counselor and later an administrator. During that time, I spent several summers traveling in Mexico and learning Spanish. After being divorced for many years, I met Bill, whom I married just a few months ago. We currently live in Washington, where I actually enjoy the rain. We look forward to returning to California in a few years and being able to reconnect with MiCoHi friends.

But, I must admit that I was a wanderer....Santa Cruz, Turlock, Kauai (17yrs), WA and TX for a hot minute each then back home.. am sure there were other places, but who can remember? Never finished my college career, which isn't a regret coz I've got all that family! Now I'm lucky to live part year South Bay and part year Oregon (the beach) enjoying life and connecting with all my old buddies!!! It's been grand so far!!

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Left the beach area in 1986 to follow husband's career (Sr. V.P. at BMW of North America). Spent 3 years in Reno, then 8 years in New Jersey before returning to L.A. Lived in Bell Canyon then Bradbury until husband's death, at which time I relocated to Sacramento area with my menagerie (horses, dog, parrots) to be closer to family. I, too, worked at BMW of North America until my retirement, after which I spent the next several years as a consultant in the field of Human Resources. I am active in the DAR and Colonial Dames, and spend many hours each week doing volunteer work.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Our whole family is active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which has been the greatest of blessings in our lives. In the 10th Grade at MCHS, Craig Lovik introduced me to Christ, and Mary Winfree took me to the LDS Church in Manhattan Beach. I joined my last year of college. It was the best thing I ever did. Today, I teach college-level religion courses and absolutely love it. We moved to WA State in 1977 and live in University Place near Puget Sound. It rains a LOT, but that's the price of everything being green.

Fortunate to do lots of int'l travel, my teaching partner (taught 5th grade together in the same room for 40+ countries, enjoying other cultures and fun golf. Met working for 15 years).
