Many of the uniqueness of Madura language that is not used in the speech, replaced with the Indonesian language. Recently, in Madura language communication, it is found the use of lexical elements that are not in accordance with the phonological rules of Madura Language. Consequently, in the future, Madura language will increasingly lose its uniqueness as a language, instead it will appear more as a dialect of the Indonesian language. Nowadays, the insecurity of Madura language has begun to appear with the shrinking use of this language in communication. Therefore, if there is no a very serious and planned effort, Madura language will be extinct soon; No longer claimed as language, but will only become one of the dialects of the Indonesian language. Iwan Noor Suhasto 3 123 State Polytechnic of Madiun, Jalan Serayu No. 84 Madiun, East Java, Indonesia {[email protected]} Abstract. This study aims to look at the culture of consumption in a postmodern society today, especially from a sharia (Islamic) perspective. Advances and developments in technology are also the focus of study in this study, this is because researchers also want to see the influence of technological progress and developments on the culture of consumption in postmodern societies. This study uses an interpretive research paradigm in which the study of transcendental phenomenology is the analytical tool. The subjects of this research are “accounting people”, namely people who have been or are currently taking accounting studies, where they have received material related to accounting and finance. The results of this study indicate that technological developments greatly influence the culture of public consumption. Technology can have a very strong influence when combined with marketing techniques related to consumer finances which ultimately marginalize the rationality of most consumers even though they are aware of the marketing techniques used by startups that provide buying and selling services online. The results of this study also show that some consumers shop to fulfill their desires rather than their needs which are certainly not in accordance with Islamic teachings. INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC & TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH VOLUME 8, ISSUE 03, MARCH 2019 ISSN 2277-8616 Mapping Of Regional Inequality In East Java Province Duwi Yunitasari, Jejeet Zakaria Firmansayah Abstract: The research objective was to map the inequality between regions in 5 (five) Regional Coordination Areas (Bakorwil) of East Java Province. The research data uses secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and related institutions in each region of the Regional Office in East Java Province. The analysis used in this study is the Klassen Typology using time series data for 2010-2016. The results of the analysis show that: a. based on Typology Klassen Bakorwil I from ten districts / cities there are eight districts / cities that are in relatively disadvantaged areas; b. based on the typology of Klassen Bakorwil II from eight districts / cities there are four districts / cities that are in relatively disadvantaged areas; c. based on the typology of Klassen Bakorwil III from nine districts / cities there are three districts / cities that are in relatively lagging regions; d. based on the Typology of Klassen Bakorwil IV from 4 districts / cities there are three districts / cities that are in relatively lagging regions; and e. based on the Typology of Klassen Bakorwil V from seven districts / cities there are five districts / cities that are in relatively disadvantaged areas. Abstrak Penelitian ini mempunyai beberapa tujuan mengetahui potensi masing-masing kabupaten yang mendukung aktivitas perdagangan diwilayah Jawa Timur. Ingin mengetahui tingkat interaksi antarwilayah di Jawa Timur dengan Surabaya, serta pola interaksi perdagangan terkait dengan potensi produksi komoditi sector pertanian pada wilayah Kabupaten di Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi produksi untuk komoditi padi/beras Potensi masing-masing komoditi pertanian terutama tanaman pangan di Jawa Timur seperti padi terspesialisasi pada wilayah Jawa Timur bagian timur dan utara. Sedangkan untuk tanaman pangan jagung tersebar merata pada beberapa Kabupaten dengan sentra produksi di Sumenep, Kediri, Tuban, Jember dan Malang. Untuk potensi produksi daging berlokasi disekitar Surabaya, seperti Mojokerto, Sidoarjo dan Nganjuk. Potensi produksi susu terkonsentrasi pada lokasi wilayah dataran tinggi wilayah Kabupaten Malang, Pasuruan dan kota Batu. Sedangkan potensi produksi telur terkonsentrasi di wilayah Blitar, Kota Blitar dan Magetan. Tingkat interaksi perdagangan komoditi pada wilayah Kabupaten/Kota di Jawa Timur dan Surabaya dengan menggunakan indeks gravitasional meunjukkan semakin besar indeks gravitasional semakin besar pula arus komoditi yang masuk dari wilayah sentra produksi ke Surabaya. Indonesian Presidential Election 2019 East Java: Deadheat in a Battleground Province By Alexander R. Arifianto and Jonathan Chen SYNOPSIS Home to roughly 31 million eligible voters, both President Joko Widodo and his opponent Prabowo Subianto are currently locked in a statistical deadheat in East Java – a key province in which the winner is likely to become Indonesia’s next president. COMMENTARY FOR BOTH contenders of the 2019 presidential election – incumbent President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo and his challenger Prabowo Subianto − East Java is a “must win” province. East Java has a total population of 42 million − including an estimated 31 million citizens who are eligible to vote in the 2019 Indonesian general election. It is Indonesia’s second largest province measured in terms of its population. East Java is generally considered a stronghold of Jokowi. This is because he won handily against Prabowo in the province – with a margin of six percent – during the pair’s first presidential match-up in 2014. Most experts expect Jokowi to have a strong advantage in East Java because of the dominance of two political parties within the president’s coalition, the Indonesian Democratic Party Struggle (PDIP) − which traces its lineage to Indonesia’s founding president Sukarno, and the National Awakening Party (PKB) − which is affiliated with Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Indonesia’s largest Islamic organisation. -

Income of Madura cattle farmers in Madura island of East Java province of Indonesia Riszqina*1,2, Isbandi1, E Rianto1, SI Santoso1 Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Science, Diponegoro University, Semarang; 2Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Madura, Pamekasan, Indonesia Abstract Madura cattle are indigenous in Madura Island of Indonesia, which are raised for beef/ draught, racing (karapan) and beauty contest (sonok). The purpose of this study is to determine the farmer income of beef/ draught cattle, racing bull and contest cows business in Madura Island, and to determine which business gives the greatest advantage to the farmers. This study involved 240 beef cattle farmers, 135 racing bull farmers and of 145 beauty contest cows farmers from all over Madura Island. Data collected were analysed for fixed costs, variable costs, total costs, revenue, income, benefit-cost ratio (B/C ratio). The results showed that the average income/head/year in beef/draught, racing and beauty contest cattle were IDR. 6,698,017; IDR. -8,218,347; and IDR. 447,880, respectively. The average value of B/C ratio in the beef/draught cattle business, racing bull and cow contest were -0.51, -0.20 and 0.04, respectively. It is concluded that cow contest business has the best advantage based on the aspects of farmer's income and B/C ratio. Tipologi Rumah Desa Wisata di Dusun Ngluwuk Desa Batik Gedhog Tuban Tyas Santri Program Studi Arsitektur, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Langlangbuana Bandung, Indonesia [email protected] ABSTRAK Indonesia merupakan negara yang kaya akan suku, bangsa, adat istiadat, budaya, sumber daya alam dan juga desa wisata. Desa wisata di Indonesia tersebar di berbagai daerah dari sabang hingga merauke, dan desa wisata ini memiliki karakteristik masing-masing sesuai dengan daerahnya, salah satu contohnya adalah salah satu dusun di desa batik gedhog yaitu di Dusun Ngluwuk, Desa Kedungrejo, Kecamatan Kerek, Kabupaten Tuban, Jawa Timur yang memiliki identitas kultur dan tipologi bangunan yang khas. Kajian tipologi rumah di Dusun Ngluwuk desa batik gedhog Tuban ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan tipologi. Kriteria pemilihan sampel berdasarkan aspek keaslian bentuk bangunan yang masih khas dan rekomendasi warga setempat. Melalui kajian ini penulis dapat mengidentifikasi karakteristik tipologi arsitektur rumah desa wisata di Dusun Ngluwuk. Bentuk dan tampilan bangunan rumah di Dusun Ngluwuk merupakan bangunan bergaya tradisional tropis dengan desain fasad menggunakan ragam hias ornament dan proporsi fasad maupun ruang dalam cenderung simetris, menggunakan atap “tekuk lulang”. Melalui kajian ini diharapkan pemerintah setempat dapat mengedukasi masyarakat yang mempunyai rumah dengan bentuk yang masih khas dapat tetap mempertahankan keaslianya. SME Business Development Strategy Model in Tuban Regency, Indonesia: SWOT & EFE-IFE Analysis Iha Haryani Hatta 1, Hindrajid Harsono 2 { [email protected] 1 } 1,2 Faculty of Economics and Business, Pancasila University, Lenteng Agung Street, Depok, Indonesia Abstract: SMEs of marine fish processing in Tuban Regency, Indonesia need to be developed considering the skills to manage business (employees, production, finance, external, and marketing strategies) and the achievement level of marketing performance are not yet optimal. In addition, most of these SME entrepreneurs are young and have low education. Therefore, the study on the SME business development strategy model in Tuban Regency, Indonesia is needed using the SWOT and EFE-IFE analysis, which aims to identify the models and recommendations of the SME business development strategy. The study interviewed 40 SMEs entrepreneurs engaged in marine fish processing as random respondents. The results of the study explain that this business development strategy model is S-T. This means that these business entrepreneurs will optimize the strengths they have in order todeal with the existing obstacles. Therefore, the strategic recommendations for these SMEs include developing competitiveness and improving good relations with customers.
