A whole new to meaning to “sleeps with the fishes”

In another roommate incident, Sanford police had to respond to an apartment in the Wyndham complex because of a physi- cal disturbance between two roommates. When they arrived the victim told police that her roommate was intoxicated and started an argument with her. During the argument he poured bleach into her fish tank, killing all of her fish. When she left to get away from him, he followed her and grabbed her by the wrist, causing a splint she was wearing to fall off. During that altercation he said, “I am going to kill you.” Christopher Singh, 35, of Sanford, was charged with battery.

Everyone should be allergic to this lady

A Lake Mary woman was seeking a live-in caretaker and thought she had found the right match. During their interview, the elderly woman informed the caretaker that she had a severe allergy to perfumes, body-sprays, colognes or air fresheners, and that none should be used in the home. However, after only a few days the elderly woman realized the arrangement was not working out. She and her daughter told the caretaker she would no longer be needed, at which point the caretaker became irate. She told the two they would “regret this” and as she packed her things she began spraying perfume all around herself and around the woman. The woman’s daughter eventually had to retrieve an Epi-pen due the the woman’s allergic reaction. When the caretaker saw the woman’s reaction she said in a sarcastic tone “Does that bother her? Oops, I forgot.” By the time deputies arrived the elderly woman had already been rushed to the Lake Mary Emergency Room. Kimberly Sheldon, 53, a transient, was charged with abuse of an elderly person and culpable negligence to inflict harm.

We all hope this will happen, but it never does.

A deputy was on traffic patrol near Lake Forest on S.R. 46 when he noticed a car speeding through a construction zone. When the deputy ran the license plate he also found the reg- istered driver of the vehicle had a suspended license. At this point, the deputy fired up the lights and followed the vehicle for some distance. The vehicle made no attempt to stop, so the deputy turned on his sirens as well. Still, the vehicle did not stop. The deputy eventually caught up to the driver at a stop light and was able to conduct the traffic stop. The man, who did have a suspended license, told the deputy, “I saw you be- hind me and wanted you to pass me.” Mauro Torres Colon, 41, of Deltona, was charged with flee- ing or eluding an officer and driving with a suspended license.
