Paramount Collection Paramount Collection Airtight To control the air is to rule the world. Nuclear testing has fractured the Earth's crust, releasing poisonous gases into the atmosphere. Breathable air is now an expensive and rare commodity. A few cities have survived by constructing colossal air stacks which reach through the toxic layer to the remaining pocket of precious air above. The air is pumped into a huge underground labyrinth system, where a series of pipes to the surface feed the neighborhoods of the sealed city. It is the Air Force, known as the "tunnel hunters", that polices the system. Professor Randolph Escher has made a breakthrough in a top-secret project, the extraction of oxygen from salt water in quantity enough to return breathable air to the world. Escher is kidnapped by business tycoon Ed Conrad, who hopes to monopolize the secret process and make a fortune selling the air by subscription to the masses. Because Conrad Industries controls the air stacks, not subscribing to his "air service" would mean certain death. When Air Force Team Leader Flyer Lucci is murdered, his son Rat Lucci soon uncovers Conrad's involvement in his father's death and in Escher's kidnapping. Rat must go after Conrad, not only to avenge his father's murder, but to rescue Escher and his secret process as well. The loyalties of Rat's Air Force colleagues are questionable, but Rat has no choice. Alone, if necessary, he must fight for humanity's right to breathe. Title Airtight Genre Action Category TV Movie Format two hours Starring Grayson McCouch, Andrew Farlane, Tasma Walton Directed by Ian Barry Produced by Produced by Airtight Productions Proprietary Ltd. and the Greenboe Corporation Pty. Ltd. in association with Viacom Productions Inc. and KirchMedia Alien Fury A false threat, a real attack. Earth is now about to face the consequences. While photographing the moon, the U.S. satellite Lunar Prospector II disappears somewhere above the lunar south pole. When the Defense Department receives and decodes the last photograph taken by the satellite, the image reveals what appears to be armed alien craft on the moon's surface. Based on this image and failed communication attempts, a high-ranking official at Defense, Bill Templar, convinces the government to launch a nuclear-armed satellite in a pre-emptive strike. By chance, a local cop, Detective Kevin Anjanette discovers proof that Templar had faked the photograph. It then surfaces that there ARE aliens on the moon, albeit peaceful, and Templar is actually a malcontented member of their race. His plan is to incite a violent, military action by Earth against his people, who would then be forced to retaliate by annihilating the planet. Detective Anjanette finds himself in the fateful position of having to communicate to the aliens that he will try to have the misguided nuclear attack aborted. The race is on with mere minutes left before the bomb's impact. Kim finally meets her match in Mike, a tough district attorney who's every bit as talented, determined and busy as Kim. But can they both slow down the rapid-fire pace of their lives long enough to have a serious relationship? Nancy Travis (Three Men and a Baby, Married to the Mob) stars as the harried career girl in search of Mr. Right. One third rude. Three thirds loveable! As producer Dave Hackel puts it, "Becker is a character with little or no regard for political correctness." And this is what makes him so unique. He looks at the world around him, sees a society gone mad ? and gives everyone a piece of his mind, whether they want it or not. Among those who want it are TV viewers all over the world. • Joker (2019 Film) - Wikipedia
Joker (2019 film) - Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joker_(2019_film) Joker (2019 film) Joker is a 2019 American psychological thriller film directed by Todd Joker Phillips, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver. The film, based on DC Comics characters, stars Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker. An origin story set in 1981, the film follows Arthur Fleck, a failed stand-up comedian who turns to a life of crime and chaos in Gotham City. Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Bill Camp, Shea Whigham, and Marc Maron appear in supporting roles. Joker was produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Films, and Joint Effort in association with Bron Creative and Village Roadshow Pictures, and distributed by Warner Bros. Phillips conceived Joker in 2016 and wrote the script with Silver throughout 2017. The two were inspired by 1970s character studies and the films of Martin Scorsese, who was initially attached to the project as a producer. The graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke (1988) was the basis for the premise, but Phillips and Silver otherwise did not look to specific comics for inspiration. Phoenix became attached in February 2018 and was cast that July, while the majority of the cast signed on by August. Theatrical release poster Principal photography took place in New York City, Jersey City, and Newark, from September to December 2018. It is the first live-action Directed by Todd Phillips theatrical Batman film to receive an R-rating from the Motion Picture Produced by Todd Phillips Association of America, due to its violent and disturbing content.

5.0-6.0 The Lost Gate Card, Orson Scott 5.8 Danny North knew from early childhood that his family was different, and that he was different from them. While his cousins were learning how to create the things that commoners called fairies, ghosts, golems, trolls, werewolves, and other such miracles that were the heritage of the North family, Danny worried that he would never show a talent, never form an outself. He grew up in the rambling old house, filled with dozens of cousins, and aunts and uncles, all ruled by his father. Their home was isolated in the mountains of western Virginia, far from town, far from schools, far from other people. There are many secrets in the House, and many rules that Danny must follow. There is a secret library with only a few dozen books, and none of them in English — but Danny and his cousins are expected to become fluent in the language of the books. While Danny's cousins are free to create magic whenever they like, they must never do it where outsiders might see. Unfortunately, there are some secrets kept from Danny as well. And that will lead to disaster for the North family. The Gate Thief Card, Orson Scott 5.3 In this sequel to The Lost Gate, bestselling author Orson Scott Card continues his fantastic tale of the Mages of Westil who live in exile on Earth in The Gate Thief, a novel of the Mither Mages. Here on Earth, Danny North is still in high school, yet he holds in his heart and mind all the stolen outselves of thirteen centuries of gatemages.
