Pp.195-206 A Comparison of Intrinsic and Extrinsic Compensation Instruments: The Case of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), District Attock, Pakistan Ahmad Jamal Tahir1, Rosman Bin Md. Yusoff2, Anwar Khan3, Kamran Azam4, Muhammad Sohaib Ahmed5 and Muhammad Zohair Sahoo6 The paper aims to compare the compensation instruments which are used as the factors of motivation in the banking sector of Pakistan. With a case study research design, structured interviews were conducted from the fifty ( 5 0 ) employees of NBP branches in district Attock. The responses of interview were scaled and scored according to standardized Likert technique, in such a way that scores for each response were added and then multiplied with total responses. After obtaining scores of the nine compensation factors, Pearson Product correlation was calculated to check the relationship between the compensation factors. The results show that the employees of National Bank of Pakistan were motivated both by the intrinsic as well extrinsic factors of compensation, in such way that extrinsic factors were more causing motivation. The paper has concluded that Compensation Management has a profound direct positive relationship with employee motivation level and intrinsic factors played important role in the motivation process. The paper recommends that public sector banks shall apply progressive human resource strategy and provide healthy compensation plans regarding benefits and intrinsic factors. Abdul Qadir Mushtaq1 Muhammad Ibrahim2 Electoral Politics In Pakistan: A Case Study of NA-94 Abstract: This constituency consists of Kamalia, Pirmahal and its sournding villages. Before 1985 elections, it was the part of district Faisalabad but before 1985, Zia regime decided to establish new district Toba Tek Singh. Kamalia is the Tehsil head quater of T. T. singh but its area has been divided into two constituencies. Few villages fall in NA and other villages are situated in NA. 94. The major bridaries of this constituency are, Syed, Arian, Jutt, Rajput, Rajput Bhatti, Kharals, Fityyana. Before 1985, the main leadership was in the hands of Syeds. Two different groups existed among them; one was leading Syed Nasir Deen Shah and second was under the control of Makhdoom Nazir Deen shah. These two groups ruled over district council Faisalabad for many years. Zia regime tried to dismental its influence and decided to divide the follwers of these two groups onto different districts. Few villages of their followers had been given in district Jaranwala, few were given in district Faisalabad and few came in the vicinity of district Toba Teksingh. In this way, the power of the Syed family came to an end. Now in the existing set up, the leadership is in the hands of three major families i.e. Syed, Arian and Fatiana. This paper presents the historical background of the electoral politics and role of bradrise in the victory of the candidates. Introduction Kamalia is a Tehsil of Toba Tek Singh District which is situated in Punjab, Pakistan. -

Pakistan Railway has spent handsome amount of money on the Railway infrastructure, but unfortunately tracks could not be fully utilized. Since last many years due to the fall of the Pakistan railway, road transport has taken an advantage of this & promised to revenge. Finally road transport has increased progressive amount of share in his account. In order to get the share back, in 2006 Pakistan Railway decided to introduce High speed train between Rawalpindi-Lahore 1.According Pakistan Railway year book 2010, feasibility report for the high speed train between Rawalpindi-Lahore has been completed. -
