HEY THERE!

I’m Rinn, and I’m a toy and game designer at Hasbro (and a graduate of the Industrial Design program at the University of Cincinnati)! Over the past few years, I’ve discovered that the projects I’m most passionate about are inspired by trends and the user, and require in-depth brand understanding and styling - regardless of whether the project is an interface, product, or a form of transportation.

Before I discovered industrial design, my first love was fashion. I’ve always loved to sew, and in my free time I like to make my own clothes. When I’m not accidentally creating a human pincushion out of myself, I love to get outside and go places; whether it’s with a yoga mat, on a motorcycle, or to an outdoor concert venue. I also happen to be a cat mom, a relentless black-wearer, and an avid cartoon watcher.

the autonomous future city has its limits, and no city-living adventure seeker wants to live within the confines of the grid. autonomy is great for utilizing commute time, but compact cars are produced for economy, not luxury, and as a result, interiors are cramped, cheap, and claustrophobic. sometimes the driver just wants to disconnect; within the vehicle to get away from the city mentally, and utilizing the vehicle to get away from the grid physically.
