(11 January 2017 – Hong Kong) – 361 Degrees International Limited (“361˚” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”; HKSE stock code: 1361), announced the official signing of Mr. Jimmer Fredette from Shanghai Sharks as another spokesman for the brand’s basketball segment. Through the cooperation and endeavor of both sides, the Company would like to encourage more young people to challenge and transcend themselves, and to boldly enter the game.

Born in New York State USA, Mr. Jimmer Fredette has shown passion and talent for basketball sports since childhood, and had first made his name as a top high school basketball player. Mr. Fredette genuinely became a rising star after entering college, and kept setting new records during his stay at Brigham Young University. Mr. Fredette was selected to join the NCAA College Basketball AP All-America First Team, and scored 28.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals during his senior year. He also won the ESPY Award for Best Male College Athlete and was named the National Player of the Year in a poll participated by major media institutions. Although he experienced a short-term downturn in his performance, Mr. Fredette never gave up. He regained peak performance after joining Shanghai Sharks in 2016.

The 2016-2017 CBA Regular Season now enters the second half. Under Fredette’s leadership, Shanghai Sharks was crowned champion in the First Division again in 15 years, and continued to make their way through all manners of obstacles. Mr. Fredette not only owns outstanding personal ability, but also has distinct leadership capability. He shares his challenging and constantly break through spirit with all teammates and creates more opportunities for his teammates in the field, thus helping the team to become more united and powerful. By scoring 38.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game on average, he also became the best combo guard in the league. Given his leading position on the scoring list, Mr. Fredette was unanimously selected into CBA All Star Game. He scored 32 points, the most points scored in the game, and became the new Three-point King of the league with 22 points at half-time.
