Roberta’s restaurant, bar, terrace, is a beautifully designed space, with contemporary cuisine served to you beneath the bespoke glass ceiling! Nestled between 1 Essex St East and Wellington Quay, this spacious eatery is open for dinner seven days a week.

Head Chef, Troy Watson, has put together a brand new menu, jam packed with flavour and tasty fare. The restaurant has made our home in the former Dollard Printworks Building, in the heart of Dublin. This gorgeous protected building dates back to 1886 and is the oldest steel frame building in Ireland. Whilst the building itself has been painstakingly restored inside, maintaining it’s beautiful arched entrances and windows, you really need to see the stunning view! Roberta’s offers an unparalleled vantage point of the River Liffey, with over 40 metres of riverside views.

Roberta’s is filled with volumes of natural light pouring through the fantastic windows on either side of the building – and through one of the key focal points, the breath-taking glass atrium style ceiling. Sole Seafood & Grill

The restaurant itself has been designed with a warm chic interior, bronze and grey tones create an atmosphere of urban sophistication, making it a destination dining venue. Belfast-based designer Graham Barrow was behind the design of the stylish finished look and was on-hand to oversee the transformation of the restaurant. Most notable in the room is the amazing bar area; with the sweeping colonnade creating a central feature incorporating distressed steel apertures bolted onto bespoke rusted pillar capitals, designed to be vaguely reminiscent of Victorian paddle steamers. This focal point gives the space an individual look, whilst providing a wow factor as soon as you walk in the front door!

Our food philosophy at SOLE Seafood Grill is one honouring seafood sustainability and local Irish producers. We want to connect our customers with the wealth of amazing Irish ingredients on offer from our sea and our land, while also highlighting some quality produce from other countries also. Each day our culinary team prepare these products with great passion and care to enhance their natural flavours whether it’s the finest oysters from our coastal waters, fresh vegetables from our native soil or the world’s finest crab from Norway.

We work with suppliers who carry the same ethos and quality in their production that we want to deliver to our customers. We take pride in growing a trusting relationship with our suppliers in order to guarantee the best and to follow through the sea-to-SOLE experience. Oliver Dunne Dine Around: Cleaver East, Beef and Lobster, the Liquor Rooms The Dine Around starts typically between 5:30 and 6:30pm, with starters and a drink of choice served in either our Cleaver East or our Beef & Lobster Venue. Upon completion of starters the diners are guided to their next venue, if in Beef & Lobster they are guided to Cleaver East, and vice versa. The walking distance between each venue is just 150 meters, so clients will not be separated or become lost.

Should there be inclement weather, we will have enough umbrellas available for all to ensure no one gets wet! The diners then arrive in their second venue, are settled in by our staff and they enjoy their main course here, again with a drink of choice. Upon finishing their main course, and when ready, the diners are guided by our staff to their final venue, The Liquor Rooms, which is located immediately beside both venues, with a walking distance of two or three minutes. In The Liquor Rooms there will be a special area reserved where the diners, will be served our desserts, along with a welcome cocktail that has been specially designed by the Liquor Rooms mixologists to match with the desserts they have chosen.

A delightful and charming small castle on extensive grounds. It was built in the 15th century as the family home of the Luttrell’s family and remained as the family home until 1800. After some years the celebrated Guinness family bought it and in the 1930’s Ernest Guinness gave the castle to his daughter as a wedding gift. It was during her time through to the 50’s that the castle developed more into a manor as she was the hostess of a great many parties. It closed as a private dinner venue for some years as it slowly fell into ‘soft’ decay. Following a careful refurbishment it re-opened very recently for private special events. The main salon can take 100. The Castle is exclusively a private rental Venue.

On arrival at the Castle the powerful sounds of the Irish pipes will lure you to the front door where the red carpet will be laid out. Alternatively you can be welcomed to the Castle by a pair of majestic Irish Wolfhounds. You will be greeted by your waiters for tonight with trays of champagne. Drinks and canapés will be served in the Grand Hall. This is the perfect location to take in the majestic settings.

A very regal sound of a trumpeter will ring. This is your call to dinner.

As you make your way in to the elegant dining room, the chandeliers are glistening, the candelabras are flickering and very subtle lighting all work together to really highlight the magnificence of this beautiful room. Soft gold linens on the tables and chiavari chairs finish the room to perfection. Luttrellstown is the perfect setting to reward your guests and congratulate them on their well deserved awards.
