The Parish Church of 1 July 2018 –5th Sunday after Trinity

You are very welcome to All Saints this morning for this sung Eucharist (Holy Communion). Children are very welcome here and, if they want to, they can take part in the children’s activities that happen at the east end of the church and in the choir vestry. Children leave after coming to the altar for a prayer at the end of the first hymn and return for the Communion. At certain times in the service the choir sings on behalf of the congregation; this allows us to think more deeply about our relationship with God in our lives, through meditating on the words and music chosen for the day. The words that they sing can be found either in the service book or later in this sheet. Today the mass setting is Missa brevis in C K.220 (Spätzen-Messe) (Mozart)

The service starts on page 1 of the green booklet. The service continues with the Preparation of the Table on page 7 of the green booklet. The Opening Hymn is 351.

This morning we will use Eucharistic Prayer A. We say together the collect – the special prayer for this Sunday. While the congregation comes forward to receive Holy Communion the choir will sing the motet
