PLAY THE POSSIBILITIES San Jose Jazz Summer Jazz Camp is designed for middle and high school students with skill levels from intermediate and up. Led by camp director Wally Schnalle and many of the region’s best teaching artists, the two-week day camp is held at the state-of-the-art facilities of the Valley Christian Schools Conservatory of the Arts in San Jose.

Offering deep immersion into every aspect of jazz—from theory to performance—each student participates in both a small group and big band. One advanced ensemble will be selected to play on stage at the 30th Annual San Jose Jazz Summer Fest, August 9–11, 2019.
