Mark Finkelnburg of Westview earned the win and the North’s offense was powered by Colton French of Jesuit who collected 3 RBIs. The following the day, the North took the series with a 7-3 victory in Sunday’s early morning game. Southpaw Cole Stringer of Central Catholic picked up the win to capture the series for the North. Brady McGetrick of Tigard High School recorded 3 RBIs in Sunday’s first game. The South edged the North 5-2 in the finale to finish on high note. David Brosius of McMinnville, an OSU commit, was the winning pitcher. Derek Hogate of Churchill hit a 3-run homer to lead the offense for the South. Mark Finkelnburg was named the Reser’s All-Star Series MVP. The Most Outstanding Player for the North was Brady McGetrick and Most Outstanding Pitcher honors for the North went to Cole Stringer. South Most Outstanding Player and Most Outstanding Pitcher, respectively, went to Derek Hogate of Churchill and David Brosius of McMinnville. His interest in baseball goes back to fond childhood memories of attending Rain- iers games at Sick’s Stadium in Seattle. He has been a longtime- Wenatchee resident and has started several businesses over the years including KW3 AM in 1976 and KW3 FM in 1985. He was co-owner and founder of the Wenatchee Business Journal in 1987, the Bellingham Business Jounal in 1992, and the Everett Business Journal in 1999. KEN OSBORNE Owner Assistant General Manager Ken has been the assistant general manager of the AppleSox since 2006. He was raised in Coulee City and attended Wenatchee Valley- College. Before joining the AppleSox, he spent seven years as the superintendent of the Sun Lakes Golf Course & Resort. Prior to that, he worked at Mission Ridge. He lives in Waterville, where he serves as his son’s little league coach. He is married to Windy, and they have two children, Will and Ella. TREVOR WILLIAMS Radio Play-by-Play Broadcaster Director of Communications Trevor is in his second season behind the mic for the AppleSox. He attends The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Wash- ington State University where he has announced baseball, volleyball, and soccer for wsucougars.com.
