BR DISTRIBUIDORA Actions against Covid-19 Our actions against COVID-19 We from BR Distribuidora are aware of our role at this time of great difficulties. For this reason, we are ready, with various initiatives, for the benefit of Brazil and society, with the awareness, responsibility and solidarity that the moment demands. #DontLayOff movement In early April, BR Distribuidora signed the open letter 'DontLayOff' and started to compose the group of companies that is committed to maintaining the employee´s jobs, in this moment of crisis of COVID-19. Leading companies drive the movement that invite other companies to participate. The initiative, in addition to the permanent concern with the health and safety of its teams, has the following objectives: - Bring greater security to your employees in this period of uncertainty; - Influence partners, suppliers and customers, fulfilling the mission to encourage all society for this purpose. So far, 3,304 companies have joined #DontLayOff movement, and we trust that this number will not stop growing. 2 Donation to Brazilian Air Force We donate fuel for flights that will distribute hospital supplies and equipment to fight the pandemic throughout Brazil. Partnership with Petrobras We are distributing 3 million liters of fuel donated by Petrobras to health units in states and municipalities. Our presence throughout the country is essential to supply ambulances and field hospitals that serve patients with coronavirus in Brazil. 3 Total care for our teams We placed at home office all workers who are able to carry out their activities remotely. Pursuing the safety of our employees who are dedicated to activities that are necessarily face to face, we reduced the number of employees to restrict people´s traffic in our operational units, thus avoiding clusters in common areas, such as cafeterias and locker rooms, in addition to advising one meter of distance between people. We offer transportation solutions to avoid the use of public transportation by our employees who remain in operational activities. We also implement temperature measurement for employees and visitors (mainly our drivers) at the unit's entrances. We also reinforced hygiene and cleanliness measures in our facilities, with frequent cleaning of door handles, handrails and other common contact surfaces. In addition, we give preventive guidance, provide alcohol gel at access points and in contact places such as self-service totems, point control equipment, etc. In addition, we distribute masks and prepare a contingency plan for each operating unit with alternatives to mitigate operational impact risks. At the airports in which we operate, in addition to all initiatives mentioned above, we clean the cabins of the Aircraft Supply Units at the change of each shift and in shared vehicles and guide the protocol for aircraft supply, ensuring the necessary care in this operation. We communicate closely with our employees in our daily HSE dialogues to reinforce the mission of ensuring continuity of operations and preventive care, and we carry out monitoring to ensure that people are engaged and in physical and psychological conditions to act. We offer, for example, free online psychological support for BR employees, as well as support through company social workers in case of need. Through our supply chain, we assist the safety of tanker drivers, supply operators, gas station attendants and the entire station staff. We supply alcohol gel and masks to BR bases and terminals, where are delivered to tanker drivers, attendants and staff of the service station for which the fuel is destined. This action with the stations' teams started in São Paulo and will expand soon. We bought masks for all our active serive stationss in the country: there are about half a million ninja model cotton masks, more anatomical, an important feature to give more comfort to the teams. The masks are produced by companies that operate in a socially responsible manner, employing seamstresses from the regions where they operate. Online consultations are also available for service station staff, company employees and fuel deliver drivers. The goal is to allow to have specialized guidance in the event of presenting symptoms related to COVID-19 or another health issue without the need to attend a health unit. Our actions consider the well-being of all the people that are standing for BR and for Brazil. Support to our resellers and franchisees decided not to apply any adjustments planned and extended the deadline for reaching the contracted volumes, among several other commercial actions.We also offer psychological assistance free of charge, through a partnership with the “Psicologia Viva” (Psychology alive) platform. Fuel for transporting alcohol gel In a partnership with The Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association (UNICA) and Brazilian Association of Hazardous Liquid Transportation Companies (ABTLP), the members of the National Union of Fuel and Lubricant Distribution Companies (Sindicom), including BR, donated all diesel used to transport alcohol 70% from the plants to the health units, which represented more than 600 thousand liters of 70% alcohol. 5 Donation of ethanol to universities for the production of alcohol 70% In view of the shortage of gel alcohol on the market, we are donating ethanol to Brazilian universities. We join forces with Suvinil, BASF's decorative paints brand, and donate ethanol to allow the production and delivery of gel alcohol to the municipalities of São Bernardo do Campo (SP), Jaboatão dos Guararapes (PE), Jacareí (SP), Camaçari (BA) and Guaratinguetá (SP). Those are cities where some of the Suvinil and BASF factories are located. The donation was destined to the Unified Health System (SUS). We also donate ethanol to Phytoativo, a cosmetic industry in the interior of São Paulo, enabling the production and delivery of 1,000 liters of alcohol 70% to the Brazilian Institute for Combating Cancer and 2,500 liters to health facilities in Ourinhos and the region. The donations we made to MSD, on the other hand, became a thousand liters of alcohol 70% destined to Fundação São Camilo, which provides services through SUS in the city of Esteio, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Support to our neighborhood communities In Rio de Janeiro, we joined Crescer e Viver Circus in a partnership to support the community around Lubrax Building, our headquarters. There are 1,600 families (more than eight thousand people) benefited with personal hygiene kits and five thousand subsistence allowances for three months (April to June). We also benefit 15 social support institutions, including health units, public schools, welfare services and social and community organizations in the neighborhoods of Cidade Nova and Estácio. The distribution of subsistence allowances takes place through credit on Sodexo meal voucher, with a credit of R$ 120 per month
